Today was a significant day for me as it marked the start of my second semester. I headed to college at 8 am, eager to dive into the new academic session. After a busy day of classes, I wrapped up at 3 pm and headed home, reaching there at 3:30 pm. Following a nourishing lunch, I felt quite drained and decided to take a short rest to recharge.
Once I felt refreshed, I turned my attention to creative pursuits. I had a strong inclination to create something meaningful, particularly related to my faith. This led me to design a beautiful mosque, which I poured my heart into. I'm absolutely delighted with the final result and must say, it truly resonates with me. Creating this piece was not just about art; it was about connecting with my roots and expressing my spirituality through a creative outlet.
So let's start
Step by step procedure
In the first step, I took a simple cardboard and gave it a shape, specifically a box shape. I used this cardboard to create a base for the mosque. To make mosque, I used a cardboard, some colorful papers, scissors, and glue. These were the basic materials I needed. I cut the cardboard into the desired shape so that I could glue it together and create a sturdy box.

After shaping the cardboard into a box, I wrapped it with a white paper, sticking it onto the box.

After that, I stuck the box onto the other piece of cardboard

After that, I took a slightly larger piece of cardboard than the box and glued it to the sides. The area of this cardboard was a bit larger than the box. Once I stuck it to the sides, I covered the remaining space with green colored paper, wrapping it around to conceal the cardboard underneath.

After that, I cut out another piece of cardboard to create the roof of the box and wrapped it with brown colored paper. Then, I created another identical box and cut out another piece of cardboard for its roof, wrapping it with brown colored paper as well. This other box is smaller than the first.

In the final step, I attached the small box on top of the larger box and added two rod-like structures to the sides. I created miniature minarets using green colored paper and placed them on top of the smaller box. I also added doors to the mosque. On the side of the smaller box, I attached a small, delicate white dome, which you can see in the design.
