Phishing Bittrex!

Good afternoon!

This is an important warning for everyone who trades on Bittrex.

Today I received a letter with the following content:

It seems everything converges, sent from the support service, but the link opens the domain bittrex.online, not bittrex.com. On the page we see the standard form of authorization, but the authorization will pass with any password (they do not know your real password) !!!

Be attentive, this is Fishing - a fraudulent device aimed at collecting authorization data from users! Always check that you are on the site you need !!!

I hope that you did not manage to get caught in this trick, if you filled out this form, change the password immediately.

Thanks for the heads up! I have seen some posts of people getting hacked even with 2FA on Bittrex. Hackers are the new pirates. Stay safe :)

I never click on e-mails. But never knows when you click from some interesting title.

As advice, i always enter my accounts typing manually the links. I click only on links at the beginning when creating account.

Beside that, you can double check links with just hovering and see if something appear different or just go online to check that link but not in the address bar.

Go on virustotal.com or other websites (there are some that check links if they are bad or good) and check them there.

Even if are simple accounts like social... nobody will want to lose their rights. So, better check what you click and watch out of emotional clicking (i think is the best term that i can describe to that).

I got a email of someone trying to change my email thats weird but I never requested that...I don't think it is possible to hack your account with 2FA enable
