Greetings Summoners! Welcome to Battle Mage Secrets. The Battle Mage Secrets is a challenge where every week players must test their strategic skills in battle for specific rules. This week the specific rule is "Fab Four":
- Up to four Units can be used.
This battle was played in a Splinterlands tournament where all sets (Alpha, Beta, Untamed, Chaos Legion and Rebellion) were allowed to play. It was in the "Gauntlet Wild Novice Invitational". This tournament has a novice format so only level 1 cards can be used. Let's see the rules, the team and the details of the battle.

Battle Rules & Strategy
This is a 51 mana battle with 3 battle rules (Fab Four, Aimless and Heavy Hitters). All elements except Fire and Dragon are allowed to play.

Monsters with high HP are important.

Pick a strong tank!

Line up monsters in ascending order.

Monsters with high speed are important. If we manage to kill an enemy monster before our opponent does, we will have a great advantage in the battle.

Ranged and Magic attacks hit a random enemy target due to Aimless battle rule.

Using melee attack monsters is a good idea to avoid random attacks.

Use some card with Stun to trigger the Knock Out ability if you can.

Possibilus the Wise is a leviathan from the future that has adapted to rule on both land and sea. His mission is to find and secure the lost sacred rune tablets of his race that were shattered into pieces and strewn across time and space by the entity known only as Desolation. In his present time, a war rages on his home world of Nyuuldus, but Possibilus was tasked with traveling into the past and the future to find these runestone fragments and return with them to defeat Desolation. Possibilus the Wise has formidable psionic powers, which include psychokinesis and telepathy. When he enters battle, his runic armor glows and his runic disc spins, emitting a disorienting light. He then attacks with his psychokinetic power and ferocious bite and talons while communicating telepathically with his allies to lead them to victory.

Possibilus the Wise: Strong legendary summoner that gives +2 HP, Trample and Reach to all friendly monsters at the start of the battle.
Arkemis the Bear: This card gives +2 armor to all friendly monsters. I think it s very useful since many of our monsters have no armor. Armor will allow us to resist more attacks from enemy monsters with melee and ranged attacks.
Baakjira: Strong tank with high HP. Its "Slow" ability reduces the Speed of all enemy monsters allowing our monsters to attack first and have less chance to miss.
Kulu Mastermind: Very useful card as it gives adjacent units with no attack this unit's attack, up to a maximum of 3.
Axemaster: Fast, good HP and attack twice with his Double Strike ability. It basically deals 4 damage every turn, which is very powerful. His high Speed along with the +2 armor that Arkemis the Bear gives to the team make him a very strong monster.

This was a great battle. We have been able to make a solid team with four units. We have managed to use a varied combination of different types of damage and win the battle. My opponent played very well. He is a very good player! I am happy with my victory and the strategy I used. I have won 45.308 SPS for finishing 12th in this tournament. It was amazing! Entry was free and there were more than 300 players registered.
Personally I don't like too much the battle rule "Fab Four" because it makes it difficult to make interesting strategies with only 4 units.
