Follow your passion only if you are good at it. Mark Cuban is espousing, focus on what you are putting effort into because chances are you are really good at it and you will continue to do it. Spending time on a passion your are not good at is counterproductive and misleading to yourself. Cuban's message is to focus on something you're good at so that you don't miss out on an opportunity to become hugely successful; don't let a passion you're not good at consume all your time and then you totally miss the boat on a great opportunity because you erroneously focused your time and effort.
