Canile.
Deciso.
Femmina, adulta, segugio.
Dopo due cani maschi vorrei adottare una cagnolina, però adulta è sicuramente meglio perché già vaccinata, sterilizzata...

Entro in canile.
Posso adottarli tutti???
La scelta è difficilissima, ti fissano, sono tutti dolcissimi, bravissimi (l'esperienza mi dice che sanno recitare molto bene) e bellissimi.
Ovviamente quelli che mi piacciono di più sono maschi, molto adulti, troppo adulti... Mi piacciono i cani vecchini.

La ricerca continua e il cane della vita ancora non si fa vedere.
Un giorno, mentre parlo con la volontaria di un'associazione della città, mi parla dei "tortelli": cinque cuccioli tenuti in un recinto di fortuna in una cascina.
Decido di andarli a vedere, anche se solo per curiosità, perché ancora convinta di prendere un cane adulto.
Arrivo alla cascina, scendo dalla macchina, vado verso il recinto e mi mettono in mano una cicciona di 38 giorni, tutta nera: di un segugio, neppure l'unghia.

Fine della storia: ora è sotto la mia sedia che mi mordicchia le ciabatte.
