I got bored of rice and noodles pretty quickly but dumplings are a food I still love to eat!

I like dumplings because it's not just the fact they're delicious but it's quite a fun activity to make them!

Making them can be a little tricky at first. You put the filling in the center of the dumpling skin, then put a little bit of water on half of the end of one side to fold it in half and stick it together!

You then have to push the end of the folded dumpling together to make sure it sticks nicely and shape it with your hands into the shape you like!

The little kids in China are more talented at making them than me!

This is my friend from England who I just brought over, this was his first try. Not bad! =]

Dumplings are a common food around the new year. Some people eat them as the clock is turning 00:00 to welcome the new year!
