This tyrant thinks that he is 'defending the people' when all he is doing is protecting the established power structure.

Now, were he to take the risk upon himself to enforce the traditions and customs of 'murica upon all those around him, then he might have claim to 'serving the people'.

Otherwise he is on the exact wrong side.
