We've recently been talking about travel, where we may go and want to go in the future, and as usually happens when we talk about travel the conversation falls into the enjoyable reminiscence of where we've been in the past. There's no shortage of places and no matter how often we talk about where we want to go we seem always to have an inexhaustible list and compelling reasons why we want to be there.
We love discussions like this feeling it brings value through getting us into travel planning mode; it's exciting to research where we're going and so enjoyable to remember the amazing experiences we've already had through travelling the world.

Over the last weekend we were talking about our next trip but rather than talk about locations we were focused on the experiences we wished to have; it's those experiences that dictate where we end up travelling. Lazing around an resort pool or on a pristine white beach means very specific locations, and cultural and historical experiences mean different locations again although sometimes they cross over. Mostly the lazy pool and beach trips are closer to home, within a five to eight hour flight, and the others take us across continents and the world.
We had a lovely time talking about and planning everywhere we want to go and we didn't actually go anywhere at all, it all happened from the comfort of our home...however my guy popped out to get some food for dinner and snacks so I guess technically he went somewhere.

Those conversations are beautiful, regardless of whether you actually travel or not, or whether you definitely plan a trip. It's a dialogue between partners, and that's very important. Some couples don't even talk to each other; there's only silence and awkwardness when they're together. On the other hand, fluid dialogue strengthens and enriches both partners. I hope you can make those dreams come true soon.
The song you were listening to is beautiful!
Thank you, Becca.π

I don't know how you can possibly think straight, let alone, drive straight after not eating for that long. My guy would have died already. Admittedly, if he doesn't eat something every three hours he dies until he does. So, 21 hours would be out of the question.
I hope you had some food.
