Greetings fellow travelers around the world! I hope you have a wonderful and blessed day with your loved ones. This time, I'm sharing a recent visit to San Luis Beach (Los Bordones). It's located on Avenida Universidad, very close to the Los Bordones hotel and residential complex, from which the area takes its name. I've visited this place before, but this time we decided to go on Monday for a refreshing swim, as the temperatures in the city have been quite high and it's very hot. We also took a different route, exploring the area behind the Los Bordones hotel. It was my first time visiting this part of the beach, and I was impressed by the number of kiosks and huts in the area.
The water was cool and perfect for a hot day. Around 3 pm we were already at the beach, and it was a lovely experience getting to know and explore this area. As always, my little adventurer decided to go swimming and cool off first while I toured the kiosks. I had no idea these kiosks were there, so I explored each one. One striking detail is that most of them have palm roofs. According to one of the women in charge, the palm fronds provide shade and also give the kiosks a relaxed, artisanal feel. Coconut palms are also abundant in this area and are the perfect material for roofing these kiosks. I was surprised by the amount of land between the kiosks and the beach; it's quite wide, and the sand is very soft and, in some places, slippery, haha. After exploring the area, seeing the kiosks, and walking on the sand, I sat down to observe the vastness of the sea and enjoy the breeze. Even though it was sunny, it was cool. and relaxing.

Saludos amigos viajeros en todo el mundo, deseo que tengan un excelente y bendecido día en unión de sus seres queridos, en esta ocasión le comparto una nueva visita a la playa san Luis (los Bordones) esta se ubica en la avenida Universidad muy cerca del complejo hotelero y residencial, Los Bordones, de donde deriva el nombre del sector, en otras oportunidades había visitado este lugar pero esta vez decidimos ir el día lunes para un refrescante baño de playa ya que en la ciudad las temperaturas han estado bastante altas y por ende hay mucho calor, además hicimos una ruta diferente, en la parte posterior del hotel los Bordones, es la primera vez que visito esta zona de la playa y me impresionó la cantidad de kioscos y chozas que se ubican en el área.
El agua estaba fresca y perfecta para un día caluroso, aproximadamente a las 3 de la tarde ya estábamos en la playa y fue una linda experiencia, conocer y explorar esta zona, como siempre mi pequeño aventurero decidió primero ir a bañarse y refrescarse mientras yo hacía un recorrido por los kioscos, desconocía totalmente que estos kioscos estaban allí e hice una pequeña exploración por cada uno de ellos, un detalle resaltante es que tienen en su mayoría los techos de palma, según la información de una de las señoras encargada , me explicó que las palmas son para refrescar y además darle un estilo artesanal y relajado, también en esta zona abundan los cocoteros y son el material perfecto para colocarle el techo a estos kioscos, me sorprendió la cantidad el terreno que hay desde los kioscos hasta la playa, es bastante amplio y la arena muy suave y en algunos casos resbaladiza je, je luego de hacer mi recorrido por esta zona, ver los kioscos y caminar en la arena, me senté a observar la inmensidad del mar y disfrutar la brisa a esa hora, aunque había sol era fresca y relajante.
Visiting this area of the beach also allowed me to see some signs I hadn't noticed before, which stand out for their beautiful and colorful designs. Upon entering, there's a wooden swing with the name "Playa Los Bordones" and another very colorful one with the word "Welcome" in different languages.
From this sign, to the left, are the kiosks and a large area leading to the beach. As you can see in the photos, most of the kiosks have palm-thatched roofs and side awnings, and you can see the beautiful coconut palms, which are my favorites on the beach. From the beach view, you can see the land and the beautiful blue color of the sea. During my walk along the back of the hotel, I was able to get a closer look at the mountains and the sea, and enjoy the sound of the waves. I thought that because it was Monday, the beach would be empty, but many people, like me, were also taking advantage of the opportunity to have a refreshing swim. I really liked this part of the beach because of the beautiful view of the coconut palms and the thatched-roof structures, with these typical plants of the tropical and coastal areas of the eastern region.
Visitar esta zona de la playa, me permitió conocer también algunos letreros que no había visto y destacan por sus hermosos y coloridos diseños, al entrar hay un columpio de madera donde se lee el nombre Playa Los Bordones y otro muy colorido con la palabra Bienvenido, en diferentes idiomas.
Desde este cartel hacia el lado izquierdo, se ubican los kioscos y un extenso terreno que conduce hasta la playa, como se aprecia en las fotografías, los kioskos en su gran mayoría tienen los techos con palma y enramadas laterales y se observan los hermosos cocoteros, que son mis favoritos en la playa, en una vista de la playa se ve el terreno y el hermoso color azul del mar, durante mi caminata por la parte posterior del hotel pude observar más de cerca la montaña, el mar y disfrutar el sonido de las olas; pensé que por ser día lunes, la playa estaría sola pero muchas personas al igual que yo también estaban aprovechando para darse un refrescante baño, este sector de la playa me gustó mucho por la hermosa vista de los cocoteros y las enramadas a tono, con estas típicas plantas de las zonas tropicales y costeras de la región oriental.
Continuing my walk, I headed to the area with the kiosks and palm trees. I took some photos, and in one of them, you can partially see the white Hotel Los Bordones building. The palm trees are located on the expansive grounds, and nearby are the kiosks, which stand out for their vibrant colors and landscapes. Some are still under construction, as you can see in the photo; the wooden beams have already been installed, and only the palm-thatched roofs are missing. The structure is made with tree trunks and palm fronds, which are ideal materials for enjoying the cool sea breeze and the scenery.
When zinc or other materials are used, the heat increases, so palm trees are placed on top to counteract the heat and provide a cooling effect. I liked the colorfulness of these kiosks; there are yellow ones, blue ones in various shades, and others that are white with landscapes that stand out thanks to their striking paintings. The palm tree area is definitely my favorite. The sand, as I mentioned at the beginning, is soft and relaxing, and these kiosks surrounded by palm trees create a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere to enjoy delicious meals with the family while taking a refreshing dip in the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. San Luis Beach stands out for its beautiful scenery and its lovely blue color that seems to blend with the sky. It's the ideal place to enjoy a refreshing swim, a walk, or a stroll with the family. Its proximity to the city and easy access also make it the most visited beach year-round. I loved visiting this area and spending a pleasant afternoon at the beach.
Continuando el recorrido, me dirigí al área de los kioscos y palmeras, tomé algunas fotografías y en una de ellas se observa parcialmente el edificio del hotel los Bordones que es de color blanco, las palmeras están ubicadas en el amplio terreno y cerca de ellas los kioscos, estos destacan por sus vistosos colores y paisajes; algunos están en construcción como se observa en la foto, ya colocaron las vigas de madera, solo falta el techo con palmeras, la estructura está hecha con troncos de árboles y palmeras que son los materiales ideales para disfrutar la fresca brisa del mar y el paisaje.
Cuando se usa zinc u otro material, se incrementa el calor, por ello se colocan encima palmeras para que contrarresten el calor y refresquen, me gustó lo colorido de estos kioscos, hay amarillos, azules en varios tonos, otros son blancos con paisajes que destacan por su llamativas pinturas; definitivamente la zona de la palmera es mi favorita, la arena como lo mencioné al principio es suave, relajante y estos kioscos rodeados de palmeras, crean un agradable y acogedor ambiente para disfrutar en familia las deliciosas comidas y a la vez un refrescante baño en la cálidas aguas del mar Caribe, la playa San Luis destaca por sus hermosos paisajes, su lindo color azul que parece unirse con el cielo y es el lugar ideal para disfrutar en familia un refrescante baño, caminata o paseo, además su cercanía a la ciudad y fácil acceso la convierten en la más visitada durante todo el año, me encantó visitar esta zona y pasar una agradable tarde en la playa.
