Hey C/Q-Inspired! I wanted to share with you wonderful people a new music video/making of video I made. With this and other music videos, I try to do the most with what I have. In this case, I filmed the video from my phone (Google Pixel 5) in my house and backyard.
A shot that I think is pretty cool is the opening view. I took my patio chair and set up a projector on it. I then multiplied the image four times in Sony Vegas (video editing software) in order to make this diamond-like visual effect.

I've been using this multiply effect in my videos more frequently lately. I was heavily inspired by the Neftlix show 'Dark' which includes this effect in it's opening credits. I use this technique again in the video with a bush in my back yard. It transforms it into something pretty cool (starting as a very boring bush!).

Most of my recent videos are in black and white. I really like the consistency it gives the visuals when moving scene-to-scene. I'm working on getting better at color control and aesthetic consistency in my videos - and black and white is helpful in achieving that aim. I hope to use color to it's maximum effect when I introduce it back in future video projects.
I'm happy at how this video turned out, and at how much I've progressed in just over a year of self-produced music videos. I'm very open to any feedback, particularly constructive criticism - let me know what you think!
