Welcome to the Zephyr update series. The idea behind this is a concise snapshot of some the current developments to give you an idea on the progress being made at Bitspark towards Project Zephyr. Todays update will mostly be related to our technical development but also can include business related developments too, some developments are private and wont be noted and we may change the formatting of these updates as time goes on.
Technical:
- Ongoing development of new Sendy 2.0. Launch date: 1st Week of March 2018.
- Migration to new dedicated server in HK, public Bitshares node available soon.
- New Blog updates to Blog designs at https://blog.bitspark.io/
- Ongoing Administration enhancements
- New API endpoints for upcoming Sendy release
- Development for new website UX and branding underway in HK office.
Business:
- New Branding Discussions for Bitspark products incl ZEPH. The direction we are headed is ZEPH will be presented to MTOs as a rebate or 'points' to ease complexity. New Logo and colours.
- Final week of February 2018 Bitspark is attending the "Electronic and Digital Financial Services' conference in Almaty, Kazakhstan (http://ecacip.wfin.kz/en). Setup by the World Bank and UK AID.
- Bitspark will be present and a sponsor of the upcoming RemTech Awards in Kuala Lumpur for the international remittance industry.
- Ongoing discussions with UNDP Tajikistan team for rollout of cryptocurrency remittance project- Current status we have received higher level approvals for project development, now liaising with new team Tajik side for implementation.
- Ongoing business developments with MTOs and money transfer businesses in APAC and Internationally
