Seeing that Hive shouts from the roof tops about being decentralised and our largest splurge in the DHF is anything but , why don't we form a poll to see if the Community would like to keep or wind down the top Valueplan projects. For the sake of fairness I will not get into any personal opinions here but we need to let the larger stakeholders know whether the Community supports a project or if they are against a project. Lets start with the largest funded project the Hive rally car. Point to note this account has nothing to do with Valueplan. Thanks to @hiveanalytics for the Valueplan top accounts funded chart.

Of course when stake related you are talking about around 7 or 8 accounts that get the Valueplan funding through on the DHF. But sometimes if an election is coming up the government might listen to the majority. Also one might agree with Valueplan funding overall but not agree with a certain project being funded and seeing that 5-7 people decide what project to spend the money on, a poll might go a some way of gauging which way the wind is blowing.

The real question is: 'When does the price support fall below the power distribution number and can we come back from that price level quickly'.

Until the power decentralization curve in the hive is on something more resembling a human lifetime scale, or less, I really don't see anything changing.

The people that could change it don't, likely because they like things this way.
They were pretty clear about that when they still discussed it openly.

A lot of the business case seems to be business to business relationships. I can understand the argument and also that things take time; but actually, I'm not sure that's how innovation spreads. I think it may be through demand from consumers, rather than businesses/retailers offering the facility to pay in crypto.

Was never the biggest fan of the rally car and didn't really understand it. With that said, there are other things that VP funds that I think are beneficial. I would love to see more "plug-in proposals" for VP. Similar to how we got our Hive Wrestle Fest funded. That way people can have a voice in what VP funds or doesn't fund. If the rally car was a plug-in proposal would it pass? I would think not, but I would like to see more of those types instead of not giving the overall community a vote.
