IPFS stands for InterPlanetary File System. IPFS is a protocol and eponymous network designed to create a content-addressable, peer-to-peer method of storing and sharing hypermedia in a distributed file system. IPFS was initially designed by Juan Benet, and is now an open-source project developed with help from the community. IPFS is trying to replace HTTP by making data distributed meaning decentralization.[IMAGE: https://steemitimages.com/DQmcG2dGtey8SZqTKFSud4bBYMasoPdiBAyHXb23imGBpC4/ipfs2.png]History is being erased on the internet and IPFS is here to help, by empowering an internet that is decentralized.[IMAGE: https://steemitimages.com/DQmagfXKViS1Hm4qs5MdjgvxSECmuYKGzTpVd4cehdABLbw/ipfs4.png]IPFS also uses a human-readable name system that is entirely decentralized named IPNS.[IMAGE: https://steemitimages.com/DQmWkaBe5EjqDQgCZycZxfsuyPuDyhwuVLfiiY8h5UdGqhE/ipfs3.png]
