One Year ago, today @Booster was created on the STEEM blockchain to provide steempower to anyone who needed it for whatever purpose their post had.

Of course, we started small, as a dolphin bot gradually growing in size as more and more technology was developed both on the blockchain and in the bot itself.
92,678 VOTES GIVEN so far!
In the beginning, we upvoted all kinds of spam and direct shitposts, it was horrible. We even got gamed to the maximum by various smart brains out there that found ways to trick booster, but we did not give up - we kept on developing.
Today the scenario is different. Now people use our services for the content they have spent time and creativity on. Even vendors of products and bloggers sponsored by external companies paying the marketing cost to trend posts. It is AWESOME!
25% of our liquid rewards has gone to support ongoing open source projects that many many steemians use, and learn from.

Watching @inertia developing one tool niftier then the other is pure joy. He now works for Steemit Inc. (Since February cy) they sure know how to headhunt talents at STEEMIT HQ, maybe that is why Booster is the #1 Bot on the STEEM blockchain because it has been battle tested longer and harder then any other marketing bot out there and continously being developed as the STEEM blockchain also evolves into newer and better versions.

Hey to be clear I don't run booster I can't get you a refund, come to steemspeak.com discord if you want to explain and ask for refund but I saw those comments in your posty, why were people accusing you of doing something wrong? LOL I really don't care nevermind..
Hey you might be innocent! That's fine but why were so many people upset with you in your comments?? I mean hey I like frontrunner but I had to take my vote away from your post, it was just too low quality and not in need of that large vote... A post about a few palm trees and some puddles is NOT in need of trending.. You could have at LEAST tried to say you want to create some sort of local meetup for steemians in your country... Is that so hard to just put in actual effort and use the opportunity to get on trending to productively represent your own country?
Why not just make a trending post that is useful and maybe promotes the idea of creating a steem club for YOUR own region? It could work well for you and you could redeem yourself in the eyes of the community. Lol don't know what happened but I don't know what you are situation is, please don't ask me for refunds though I do not run this service.
But come to the discord ask inertia if you can qualify for a refund because I don't know what happened, did you use booster more than once on a post? Or did you use it like many times in a row or more than multiple days ? Maybe theres a reason for the skip... Maybe you had just used booster? Just my guess. Just come onto https://steemspeak.com and as long as you didn't break any serious rules you should get a refund if you really should get one... Maybe you triggered front runner and you got front runner upvotes and no booster and are trying to get a refund? I don't know... Just wondering...

Congratulations @fyrstikken, as you said you started as an Dolphin and then with combination of your hard work, effective strategy, effective marketing and development of Steem itself gave an great growth and gave Whale position to the @booster. And 92,678 votes are reflecting the outgoing power of @booster and i know you gave many votes out of these 92,678 for free and supported out of the box to give Steemians good base on the platform and i am not saying this just for an sake, i am one of them who got out of the box support from you and in my opinion there are many who got the same kind of support and i can say that these support are many times not expected from any business module but you are doing both things effectively means, @booster as an business doing amazing job and also you are giving free @booster upvotes to support genuine content creators and also on this occasion i want to thank all @steemspeak team because they all are doing great job in there possible ways.
And the next important aspect is @booster sponsorship, and that is effective because whoever produce amazing shows they can get the sponsorship and also you spread the votes to support other random quality posts means as you said "random cupcakes to good content creators or engaged people in the community". And this is just an start and i wish you more success on Steemit Platform and in life, and on Steemit Platform it's just an start and more excited times are ahead and we all have to walk on the path of the moon.
