I think it's awesome! It's very cool that we have working software on a blockchain protocol and its not just an idea. The economy is starting to take flight as individuals begin to see the value of their contributions to a community. I believe this is going to force some of the old guard (facebook / twitter / youtube) to really pay attention and follow suite.

What I'm starting to dig 'more' are the other applications running on Steem; such as D.tube and even this new one @steepshot which is set up to compete with an instagram. Lots of side projects that could add more and more value to the coin. http://steemhunt.com as well
