I watched a film titled My shy boss yesterday, it was an interesting movie and i learnt a lot from it, there is a statement that was used by one of the actors that i could not help but think about, like it got stuck to my brain, i guess that is because the quote is true and exactly what many guys are going through....

> Women fall for bad guys who are nice just one time but when a nice guy makes one mistake, they say he changed and get upset

This is the quote and it is true but why is it like this?

High expectation leads to disappointment, As a good guy that is nice to everyone around you, people want you to always be like that, any little change or disapproval from you can really get them upset and start wondering why you change, i guess they forget you are human too and factors and things going on around you can cause your mood change....

If we apply this to relationship, ladies don't mostly fall for guys that goes all the way to please them, a guy they can see anytime, the one who comfort them when they are sad, they take such as a friend because they felt he is too nice and they can call on him anytime, they don't have deep feelings for such guys...

Those guys that doesn't give them attention, not necessarily a bad guy, it may be someone that is aloof and love his own space and doesn't care much about them they fall for, they long for when such person would treat them right and if such person eventually do one thing that is out of the blue, it swept them off their Feet....

If a nice guy eventually find himself in a relationship, he is expected not to do a single mistake because he would be judged for the mistake for a long time, imagine doing 99 good deeds to someone but getting crucified for one single mistake, how hurtful that can be....

The bad guys get away with all their mistakes and their partner only wish they would change someday, life is indeed not balanced and it is a fuck up world when many people think this way....

My thought on this regarding relationships with your partner, there is no perfect gentleman anywhere, everyone have their flaws, love can make people to be really perfect in our eyes but love is not enough, we must also be ready to compromise...

Compromising should not be a one sided thing, both must be ready to sacrifice and also ignore the flaws of the other, this is what makes people perfect, getting to know them and accepting them and their flaws....

Your perfect gentle man is that person you are willing to do this for..

You're right, compromising has got to come in after love for it to work. Because even though we all know very well that none is perfect, we can't seem to accept it when a partner fucks up.

I have been in this position countless times. (I mean the good guy mistake stuff)

Right now I'm in the position where I find out someone has always been in love with me (three ladies actually) one since 2018, another since 2020 and the last one almost a year ago.

But It's funny I never even noticed all the attention seeking tactics. One turned me into an enemy when she finally expressed her feelings and I told her I never saw her in such light. Yet she still jumps on my calls and try to hang around, probably with the intention that I will change.

Now I'm seeing myself as a bad guy 😂

No one is perfect anywhere but love has blinded many people not to see the real ones that care and they are quick to condemn a guy once he makes a mistake but would gladly forgive immediately a bad guy who has been acting nice to them, but in the end, they are disappointed and they start realizing what they have done wrong in the first place.

One thing they say is that you do not value something potential in your hands until you lose it away for someone who doesn´t deserve it.
