The validity of my heart is something to mention
My thoughts are impure; misguided intentions
The independent work of the dependent confessions
Happiness is fleeting; only temporary sessions
To capture that, which is only a single emotion
Is only absurd as to question the notion
Why can we not agree on how to relate
The harder I push the less they cooperate
Stuck in between my two favorite things
I feel like angel stripped of its wings
An ability taken for granted, now I have lost
My sanity and soul; the unnecessary cost
Most powerful together, destined to part
