Theres mostly faq's out there i think. Have to find the posts, its little complicated. Theyre just little side projects. Probably a ton of coins potentially, and yeah. How do you calculate these numbers? I tried to boost (I think I used more than 500 though) an article about Earth2 which I've been writing, but it didn't give me the impression that I got like several dollars benefit from this... Following your numbers, it'll bring me x1,6 to boost a post over "selling" my ecency points... Worth considering...

Successfully boosting your post (or long comment) with 500 #Ecency Points makes the Ecency team upvote your content with approximately $3.33. The 50% of that upvote (which is approximately $1.67) will go to the author. Those 500 Points can be bought using $1 worth of HIVE or HBD, so this means that you make a "profit" of roughly 67% if you buy Ecency Points using HIVE/HBD. 🤓

On the other hand, if you need to regularly Promote posts (which have practically 100% approval rate) where your Promoted post will be shown as an ad on the Ecency frontend, then it might be a good idea to buy Ecency Points.
3. The other 50% of the upvote will go to those who upvoted your post or comment, where the share of each upvoter/curator depends on how much their vote worth is and when they upvoted the content before the reward payout.

Regarding searching for something on Hive, you can use #Hivesearcher (https://hivesearcher.com/) which is also created by the team which created Ecency and #Hivesigner. 🤓 In my case, I use Ecency's Advanced Search feature (https://ecency.com/search-more/?adv=1&date=all&hd=0&q=%20&sort=newest) to search for the most recent posts and comments containing my chosen search terms. 🤓🤓

Generally people work 8-9-10 months per year (depending on position, area, kind of accommodation) and go in unemployment for the rest of the year. When they work less than 8 months, every second year they don't even get unemployment money. I think that in general, free things that come with an employee's salary aren't part of their salary, since the employee can decline meals (to eat their own food), accommodation (if they want to go home everyday especially if it is near the workplace), travel (if they want to use their own car, or bicycle which does not require fuel), or equipment (if they want to use their own equipment instead of the company-provided ones) which won't necessarily be reimbursed as salary if declined. 🤓 Although that might not sound great for the employer who might just want to provide convenience at no additional cost to the employees. 😅 !LUV !CTP

I wanted to add someone more to my automatic votes on hive.vote but it asks for my Hivesigner password. I'm 100% sure from that one, since I've been writing it in a spread sheet, it's the customized one, isn't it? Nevertheless I get a message that "access token is wrong". What can I do? I read I can "import my account again" Does that mean that I "add another account" but in reality will add the same account with my private key for it?

I wasn't able to understand your question well. 🤯 Maybe you can attach a screenshot (but make sure to remove sensitive information such as your Hive account's private keys before uploading the screenshot). 🤓

To try to answer your question, make sure you are on the correct #Hivesigner website (https://hivesigner.com/) whenever you need to supply your Hive account's private keys, because there are a lot of phishing sites that copy the Hivesigner interface. 🕵️‍♂️🤗

If you have already used #HiveVote (https://hive.vote/) before, then you have already used Hivesigner, since the dapp hasn't integrated #HiveKeychain (or any other Hive authentication methods) yet. 🤔

Yeah I understood and understand that, but I don't agree that they take it away from people that earned them by reaching a certain level. I mena they should do it for levels that not have been reached and let us keep what we got. The cookie/candy stuff means that it is like you give to a kid a cookie/candy and than take it back and say, now you've been having it, but you can't eat it, you need to return it....

You can see it that way as well !LOL but it's not that I don't completely eat my cookie, using my 4 LOLZ every day like I should!
In my humble opinion the inflation of LOLZ and all the other tokens cannot be stopped if there isn't a limit or burning mechanism and people keep on acquiring them....

In my opinion, inflation cannot be stopped - it can rise or fall and can even become negative, but at least its price is controlled by requiring users to hold more of the tip token to tip the same amount every day. 🤔 Anyway, I also don't want tip bots to have the required held tokens increase. 🤗

Anyway, you might want to try using the @dustbunny dust "fluffing" service, such that instead of sending it HIVE (or HBD), you just delegate at least 10 Hive Power to it. 🤓 For every bit of Hive Power you delegate to it, you "bank" credits slowly over time, which when enough will make the bot "fluff" the dust votes on your comments and posts. 😏

I thought we talked about this already, didn't we. I started a week ago or so with this automatic voting, and I like it a lot. Like this the people I like to support don't stay without my vote, and I can use my time better to do comments and so. Maybe soon to start blogging again... And when there's some tome left, I go to the feed to upvote some more manually. I'm now steadily between 75 and 80%, giving 30-40% in automatic votes. Adding people there will urge me to lower that percentage, but I'd like to grow a bit, so I can give a bit more than the (not even) 0,001, at the moment it's still going slow, but having the dust sweeper in place, comment more, and start to boost some posts, I'll get there....

With the automatic voting I don't take that risk, because it's voting nearly all of their posts (with a daily limit). The daily limit I've set to avoid that someone would start to abuse (even though... why would they... with my low Hive power they won't get so much... yet...) and that I'd drop my vote power to low) I'm now using 30% for some people and 40% for others. !LUV

I'll take the opportunity tio get back to the promotion of the post that I tested a few days ago... There must be something I'm overseeing. Do you remember we thought it must be all small votes not to increase the reward?
There must be a different reason cause meanwhile 27 votes have been added since the promotion of the post and all are 0,000 USD. Than it doesn't make any sense to promote a post after the "normal" period of 7 days has passed.
And certainly not for a 7-days period. But WHY there is an option for 14 days promoting, if the upvotes for half of that period would be worth ZERO?!

Promoting a post on #Ecency to that is beyond the 7-day curation period has many other benefits, such as the following: 🤓
1. More people reading your post (which is the overall benefit of post Promotion)
1. More engagement (by means of comments)
2. More upvotes (that count towards achievements even if zero value)
3. Higher chance of other users following your profile (and subsequently getting upvotes and comments for your other posts and comments) and reblogging your post
4. Receiving Hive Engine token tips (such as !LUV and !PGM)

If your priority is only about the curation of other users, then it's definitely inefficient to Promote a post past its payout time. 😐

Talking about "boosting", which I understand now... What is actually "promoting" a post? Where it differs from "boosting" a post? Is it that you promote a post yourself whatever anyone else thinks about it and "boosting" needs to be approved (by who?)

On #Ecency, to Promote a post is to request the Ecency team (with practically a 100% approval rate) to show your post as an advertisement (in your chosen duration, where a longer duration requires slightly more Points) on the Ecency frontend, rotated with all other posts that are also being promoted. 🤓

On the other hand, to Boost a post is to request the Ecency team (with roughly 30% approval rate) to vote (curate) your post or long comment. 🤓 Anyway, I don't notice that the amount of Points you use to request to Boost a post or comment affects the chance of approval; it's about how long and good your content is that makes the Ecency team determine if they will curate your content (or just refund your Points). 😏

In your experience, what brings most? (Cost/win)

In my experience, Boosting gives more HP/HBD rewards (in case the Boosting requests get approved), while Promoting gives more exposure and comments and is practically guaranteed to be approved (though less Rewards than Boosting). 🤔😏

Yes, I noticed that. Pizza, Beer and Wine are all in this case. Also 200/250 tips are needed to be able to tip these tokens, where as we need only 10 !LUV or 16 LOLZ. They're a lot more accessible. Seeing numbers less than 1 (such as 0.1) usually makes the amount appear to be "small", regardless of the price of the token. 🤓 For example, if you have 1 of Token A which is worth $0.1 each and 0.1 of Token B which is $1 each, it will sometimes appear that your Token A has more value than Token B even if they have equal worth based on the quantity you have for each of them and their price. 😏
