There are trials in life that seem endless. For example, my mother's health remains very fragile. It's been several years now watching her struggle, and honestly, it causes a lot of helplessness and exhaustion.
In addition to this, at the beginning of the year, my husband became seriously ill. He had two brain surgeries. Thank God everything went well—the medical expenses, the excellent doctors, and the supplies. I can't complain about that, but I can't deny that it was very draining.
Over the weekend, I felt terrible because I suffer from very sharp pains (endometriosis). I hadn't suffered from this condition for a few months, and I thought the disease had disappeared. But no, there it was again, those pains that keep me awake at night and seem stronger than ever.
Feeling those pains again, that struggle, stirred up negative emotions: anger, hopelessness, bitterness, sadness, complaints. Everything around me felt clouded.
The pains subsided, yes, even so, I still had that negative feeling, but despite everything, I mustered the strength to tidy and clean my home. One of the things that relaxes me most is having everything in its place and my house smelling clean and fresh.
The day after tidying everything up, I took some time to relax. My husband had made coffee and had to go out, so I sat down in a very comfortable chair that my dear, kind neighbors had given me. I looked out the window with my cup of coffee in my hand. The best part was the view I could see. Oh my God! What beautiful colors! The sun was setting, with those gorgeous orange hues, the sky a soft blue, and the sea—yes, the sea, so majestic and calm. At that moment, I could only thank God for showing me such beauty. Then I snapped out of it again and told myself, "Oh yes, the glass is half full!"
Yes, even amidst so many struggles and afflictions, there are also many, many things to live for—to live with hope, to live with passion, to live with gratitude.
The struggles and afflictions are still there, but it definitely depends on us how we face each challenge that life puts in our path. Complaining and being angry might be good for letting off steam for a moment, but living in complaint and bitterness brings nothing good; it only limits us and blinds us to the many beautiful things that life offers us every day.

Hay pruebas en la vida que parecen interminables, por ejemplo, la salud de mamá sigue muy delicada, ya son varios años viendo a mi madre luchar y la verdad esto causa mucha impotencia y cansancio.

Sumado a esto, a comienzo del año mi esposo se enfermĂł gravemente, fueron dos operaciones del cerebro, gracias a Dios todo fluyĂł bien, los gastos clĂnicos, buenos doctores y la provisiĂłn, no me quejo de eso, pero no les puedo negar que hubo mucho agotamiento.

El fin de semana me sentĂ muy mal, pues sufro de dolores muy agudos (endometriosis) tenĂa unos cuantos meses sin sufrir de este mal que me deja sin fuerzas y creĂ que la enfermedad habĂa desaparecido, pero no, allĂ estaba, otra vez, esos dolores que no me dejan dormir y al parecer más fuertes que nunca.

Sentir nuevamente esos dolores, esa lucha, despertĂł emociones negativas, ira, desesperanza, amargura, tristeza, quejas, definitivamente se nublo todo a mi alrededor.

Los dolores se calmaron, si, aun asĂ, seguĂa con ese sentimiento negativo, pero a pesar de todo tome fuerzas para ordenar y limpiar mi hogar, una de las cosas que más me relaja es tener todo en su lugar y que mi casa se sienta con ese olor a limpio y fresco.

Un dĂa despuĂ©s de ordenar todo, tome un tiempo para relajarme, mi esposo habĂa hecho cafĂ©, tuvo que salir y en ese instante me sentĂ© en una silla muy cĂłmoda que me obsequiaron mis queridos buenos vecinos, mire por la ventana con la taza de cafĂ© en mi mano, lo mejor de todo fue el paisaje que podĂa observar, oh, ¡Dios mĂo! ¡Que belleza de colores, el sol estaba en su ocaso, con eso colores naranjas preciosos, el cielo con un color azul suave y el mar, si el mar tan majestuoso y tranquilo, ese instante solo pude agradecer a Dios por mostrarme tanta belleza, allĂ nuevamente reaccionĂ© y me dije, oh si, el vaso está medio lleno!

Pues sĂ, en medio de tantas luchas y aflicciones tambiĂ©n hay muchas pero muchas cosas por el cual vivir y vivir con esperanza, vivir con pasiĂłn, vivir con agradecimiento.

Las luchas y aflicciones siguen allĂ, pero definitivamente depende de nosotros de como enfrentamos cada reto que la vida pone en nuestro camino, el quejarse y tener ira, puede ser bueno para desahogarte por un momento, pero vivir asĂ en la queja y amargura no trae nada bueno, solo nos limita y nos hace ciegos ante tantas cosas hermosas que la vida nos ofrece cada dĂa.
