Mothers!
The world might not know this
But without you, there would be
No Human Race
You are Goddess of the earth
They treat you this way
Because they lack understanding of the fact
That you should be cherished above Precious Jewels
They don't know
That if not for you
They would not be in existence today
And so they act as though they don't care
When they were born
Who nurtured them to maturity
Was it themselves
Then let them show me
The nourishing milk with which they fed
And from whence this milk came
When they woke up in the middle of the night
Crying!
Who attende to them
Even when their cry came
At a point when
The sleep was at the most enjoyable state
She could not but rise up
To tend to her most loving child
She has the heart of GOLD
No wonder the ancient book made
Reference to her saying
Even if a nursing mother
Should forget her child
Which of course that would never happen
