Hive is killing itself – thanks to self-appointed hobby cops like

@hivewatchers

@jacobtothe

@spaminator

Hive risks undermining itself because of hobby moral police like Hivewatcher and Spaminator.

Their actions — belittling, blacklisting, and downvoting creators — do nothing but discourage people and hurt the community.

They do not accept other opinions and react aggressively whenever anyone disagrees.

This behavior is not only counterproductive, it reflects an ideology that punishes difference instead of fostering discussion.

Let me be clear: all my content is original and produced entirely by me.

I cross-post across multiple platforms to build a portfolio and reach an audience.

Here is the absurd part: according to their rules, if I post my videos on YouTube first and then on Hive, it’s suddenly “copypasta spam.” But if I post first on Hive and only then share on YouTube, it’s considered fully original and fine. This is completely arbitrary, illogical, and punishes creators for simply managing their workflow.

Insisting on exclusivity while disregarding the creator’s workflow is restrictive and counterproductive.

Hivewatcher, an exclusive video on this topic will follow. It will show why rigid policing discourages creators and damages the ecosystem. Originality is defined by creation, not by which platform sees it first. Threatening, blacklisting, or downvoting content for being cross-posted is not enforcement — it’s controlling behavior.

For creators: don’t let these actions stop you. Keep producing, keep sharing, and don’t let arbitrary rules or intolerant attitudes dictate your workflow. Hive can only succeed if creators are supported, not policed.

A video on this topic will follow. It will be original and exclusive, published on Hive first before being shared on other social media platforms. This is to show clearly that my content is fully original, while still reaching a wider audience after.

Hello.

Thank you for publishing content on Hive, but it appears that significant parts of this writing are machine-generated.

We would appreciate it if you could avoid publishing AI-generated content (full or partial texts, art, etc.).

Thank you.

Hello.

I would like to clarify that the text was written by me. I only made minor grammatical and stylistic corrections (for example, using autocorrect) and added some emojis. No AI-generated content was published, either fully or partially.

If any specific parts gave the impression that they were machine-generated, feel free to point them out so I can clarify.

Thank you.

so PLS don't be a Bot...

Most of the texts are simply part of my statement, nothing more. I use them almost everywhere.

BTW, this text is just copied and pasted from my other libraries, youtube, etc.

But thanks for keeping an eye on it.

Greetings, Boris the Chaos Engineer.

Hello.

Thank you for your reply. The content appeared AI-formatted.

The account has had no engagement with the Hive community since it was created so it raised further suspicion of being cteated solely to spam some content.

If you are copying and pasting content from your other website, without creating additional original content for Hive, it's generally advisable to decline rewards on these posts. Otherwise the content could be taken as no effort spam for the rewards by the community.

Also, you would need to verify via other website that you are the author of this copied content.

Hello,

Thanks for your response.

This mainly referred to text formatting and corrections. The text was copied from the descriptions of my own video uploads on YouTube and Odysee, so the content is 100% mine.

My intention is to also use 3Speak and Ecency as additional platforms to share my portfolio and hopefully reach more potential freelance clients.
I specialize in trailer edits, gameplay montages, and similar video work.

The videos were re-converted specifically for Odysee and 3Speak.
Most of my original material is in 4K, but I had issues uploading 4K above 10 Mbit on Odysee, so I converted them to Full HD.

On 3Speak I’m still experimenting to understand how everything works and to gain experience.

I’m preparing new content that will be released soon.
In the meantime, I’m posting some of my older videos, such as the Aion Dance Out videos.
One is already online, and the next is scheduled for next Thursday.
Saturdays are usually when I post my highlights.

These are mainly for my portfolio, but of course every view and interaction is appreciated, and rewards are welcome.

In short: it’s not simply copy-paste (except for the text).
The videos were properly converted for the platform and uploaded manually from my local archive.

Best regards,
Boris
The Chaos Engineer

Are videos exclusively created for Hive, or were they uploaded somewhere else before?

@chaoskernel | Feb. 22, 2026, 6:41 a.m. | Votes: 2 | [ VOTE ]

Ah ok, yey somewhere else before...

@hivewatchers | Feb. 22, 2026, 10:29 a.m. | Votes: 0 | [ VOTE ]

Then please decline rewards. Otherwise it will be considered copypasta spam with no original content and effort. It's basically dumping old content into Hive for rewards.

Hi again, and for the last time. We can make a compromise: I will delete the archive material we’re discussing and also remove Part 3 of the series that was planned for Thursday.

However, regarding my reworked and reuploaded portfolio (January–February 2026), I’m not willing to negotiate. These were complex cinematic productions, and I believe it’s fair to receive rewards for them. This is my portfolio — I’m a film and video producer, not someone posting frequent low-effort content. I release high-quality productions every few weeks or months, with storytelling, editing, and trailers — simply my work.

I publish and promote these videos across multiple platforms. I’m not exclusive to 3Speak or Ecency, and I don’t use paid promotion, bots, or any shortcuts — everything is done manually. Because of that, I would like to continue receiving rewards for my work.

For the very old archive material, that’s fine — I’ll delete it. If rewards are not allowed, there’s no point keeping it. I’m not looking for conflict, but if this is an issue, you can remove or ban me and I’ll take down all links and references and focus on other platforms instead.

I’ve been open and transparent. For me, this is a mutual opportunity: I share my work, hope to earn something, gain attention for potential jobs, and also promote the platform — basically a win-win.

So from my side this is acceptable. Can we agree on that? I don’t want trouble, but I won’t take orders or have my work talked down. If this isn’t wanted, just let me know before I transfer my old Steemit wallet here.

Some fresh 2026 videos and upcoming releases will follow, and I also plan tutorials in the future. I’m motivated to continue — I just focus on quality over quantity.

Once you reply to this comment, I will delete this video.
The other one is already being deleted. The remaining videos will stay with rewards enabled.

Best regards,
Boris

Hello.
If the content is not exclusively created for Hive, maybe you are actively promoting Hive blockchain on other platforms?

Are other platforms rewarding/paying you for cross-posting content from other platforms?

Hey, feel free to check out my channels and my website.
im only a little fish, but i do my best ^^
I promote a bit basically as much as I can while staying authentic.
On my website there’s already a link to 3Speak (Ecency is still missing).
My uploads and descriptions also include links, some with Ecency referral links.
That may not be heavy promotion, but I make these videos anyway—it’s just my portfolio.

Yes, on Odysee I also get some rewards for uploading, regardless of the content or how old it is.
I mainly use YouTube for extra visibility; I don’t really earn anything there.

If you want, I could also promote 3Speak/Ecency (Hive blockchain) more directly on the other platforms.
For example, I could produce a short teaser if there’s interest and it would be rewarded.

In general, I support projects like this and think this one is pretty good.
In the end, though, I also have to look out for myself.

Greetings
Boris

P.S. This is my last message here; I’ll delete the video later.
Maybe I’ll quietly drop by your Discord sometime.
I’m usually not the type for long discussions, but I’d like to keep things calm and harmonious here.
I’ll think about a possible Hive blockchain promo teaser.

Your content has zero followers on Twitter and Odyssey. Also, no views on Odyssey.
It means that rewards on Odyssey are next to nothing.
Only a few subscribers on YouTube.

I have tried to reason and recommended many options, including declining rewards or creating original content.
You have joined the platform and attempt to impose abusive content, and issue demands to be rewarded for it.
The persistent refusal to create original content for Hive and insisting on copying and pasting content from your other platforms means that you are on Hive solely to exploit Hive's reward pool.
This account will be blacklisted now and may have posts downvoted if the copypasta spam continues.

Honestly: You still don’t seem to understand what I have explained to you multiple times.
Are you the community or the self-appointed police of the platform? Why are you acting like this?

My reach on Twitter, Odyssey & others is still small — that’s exactly WHY I use multiple platforms at the same time. That’s normal growth for any creator who doesn’t already have millions of followers. I post my own films, build a portfolio, and try to secure my livelihood with it. No spam, no farming, no exploitation.

From the beginning, I have been open about how I work. Yet you keep accusing me of “abusive content,” “demands issue,” and “exploit the reward pool” — accusations that simply aren’t true.

Cross-posting my own videos is not forbidden on 3Speak/Hive. There is no rule requiring exclusive content. Your private interpretation does not change that.

Go ahead and blacklist me if that makes you feel better. But this behavior — blanket accusations, arbitrary rule interpretations, threats of downvotes — seriously discourages creators instead of helping the platform. I was absolutely willing to mention Hive/3Speak positively or even create targeted content for it.

Under these circumstances, I’ll simply look for places where you can grow without constantly being bothered by self-appointed sheriffs.

Good luck going forward.
— Boris

@ecency is that what your plattform means? no freedom for creatives and freelancers on 3speak and Ecency?

Platform is decentralized and belongs to everyone. Rewards are shared among all participants/contributors, natural some people try to encourage original content
