Musical Monday: R.I.P. Bill Bourne

I have missed a couple of weeks due to circumstances, but I learned this week of the passing of a Canadian folk music legend. Since Bill Bourne was an Alberta resident I was fortunate to be able to see and hear him live on a number of occasions, often in small venues around Edmonton. He was not only a superb and distinctive musician, but he was also humble and soft-spoken with a great sense of humour, and he did a lot to support new artists.

The last time I saw Bill he was playing with Lester Quitzau and Madagascar Slim as "Tricontinental". A fine trio of musicians who made wonderful music together.

On that occasion he was kind enough to sign a print of a digital painting that I made of him many years ago.

Whoever is directly controlling the V2K told me to kill myself.They told me if I killed myself now it would save the lives of countless others. Saying the longer I wait to kill myself the more people will suffer.They are reckless and should have shown the proper media what they had before taking me hostage for 5 years. I know there are many in prison that dont deserve to be there because of this. Your stay in prison will not be fun @battleaxe and friends. Ask informed soldiers in the American military what their oath is and tell them about the day you asked me why. Nobody has I guess. Maybe someone told ill informed soldiers they cant protect America from military leaders in control with ill intent. How do we protect locked up soldiers from telling the truth?
