Happy 6th Birthday, Hive!
We kicked things off by singing a little "Happy Birthday" because Hive just turned six years old. It is incredible to see how much the £ecosystem is changing and growing. We gave a massive shoutout to @Godfish, who smashed out five games in less than a month and is absolutely reaping the leaderboards. We also discussed the Polana Gaming Hub, highlighting its internal currency token and XP leaderboard. Plus, we announced that our Wheel of Names now features @Splinterlands Dark Energy Crystals as rewards, and we noted that we will be adding more Layer 2 tokens soon.

Health Apps and Hacky Sack Festivals
We shifted gears to talk about some awesome real-world projects we are involved in, blending health, youth, and alternative sports. We recently met with an old friend to discuss building a #diabetes app specifically designed to give youth healthy routines. This same friend is putting together an expo festival for alternative sports in Zoetermeer, Netherlands. We were offered to run an hour-and-a-half #HackySack workshop for kids at a neighborhood festival! This led us to brainstorm creating a Hacky Sack app where players sign in to see who is playing HackySack so they can join in. We also made sure to shout out our friend from #Venezuela, a four-time champion who juggles and creates incredible tutorial videos for Hacky Sack tricks.

Hive Debit on iOS and Marketing Transparency
Next, we dove into the latest #blockchain news and the importance of community #transparency. We shared the exciting news that the @Hivedebit is now available on Apple iOS. We had a brief, funny mix-up where we thought it launched on the EOS blockchain, leading to a quick joke about Dan Larimer. We then broke down a recent marketing meeting hosted by @Starkerz, which included folks from @Blocktrades, @Good-Karma, and @Jarvie. We emphasized that projects need to show their receipts and be transparent about how they spend DHF money. We also discussed the unfortunate downsizing at @Ecency, noting that they cut salaries and squeezed out developers until only two were left. To keep everyone updated on Hive news, we suggested that the community desperately needs regular "Town Hall" meetings.
