To forge alliances, I consulted Randvi and selected a new territory from the map. After a rainy voyage on the longship, we reached Duroliponte. There, I synchronized a local viewpoint before meeting Magni, a leader of the Summer Army, who requested help finding their retreated leader, Soma, following a devastating loss.

We had to forge alliances to secure our future in England, and Randvi mentioned she could give me insight into each territory before I commit to a journey there. So I had to choose a territory from the alliance map spread across the central table.

After choosing one to investigate, Randvi gave me detail about the alliance mentioning where I could find them and the political climate of the region I was about to enter.

To reach this new territory and make friends, I left my new home and ran to my longship. It looked quite empty at the dock, but right after taking command, I found it was full of soldiers ready for war.

We started rowing the longship with full sail down the winding river network when it was heavily raining around us. I was trying the photo mode to capture some cool photos along the way.

At last, we discovered this location named Duroliponte, where I had to find and speak to the Summer Army's leader who were camped somewhere around the crumbling stone walls. But I was more focused on the high viewpoint towering over the Roman ruins.

So I went for the viewpoint first and synchronized with it. I can use it to get around fast through the fast travel option later, revealing the surrounding fog of war on my map.

Then I found the Summer Army's leader around the ruins after noticing there are injured soldiers all around. The air was thick with blood and iron as the survivors groaned in the mud, clutching their wounds from the recent battle.

The leader was called Magni, who told me how they failed their land and had to back up into these ancient structures. Magni gave us a name, Soma, who was their jarlskona and who bellowed a retreat, and a new trail began for me.
