The Cryptocurrency Lingo
I remember when i start getting into cryptocurrencies and stumbled upon all this new terminologies such as HODL, DYOR, FOMO and i was like... WTF??

Blockchain is a new technology which is getting a lot of popularity recently with more and more people joining in for different reasons. So, it doesen't matter if it's a quick buck, a long term investment in digital assets or perhaps a vision that aligns with your values, at some point you are going to see some of this abbreviations if you are in the crypto space.

Below i have listed 25 most used abbreviations in cryptocurrency space, together with their meaning and if you want me to expand on any of those, let me know and i will do it in future posts.

1. HODL = Hold/Hold a position
2. JOMO = Joy Of Missing Out
3. FOMO = Fear Of Missing Out (A coin is pumping and you get the feeling it's gonna pump more, so you buy high)
4. ICO = Intial coin offering (equivalent of IPO in stock market)
5. Dump = To Sell off a coin
6. Pump = Upward price movement
7. TA = Technical analysis
8. FA = Fundamental Analysis
9. FUD = Fear Uncertainty & Doubt
10. RSI = Relative Strength Index
11. MCAP = Market Capitalization
12. OTC = Over The Counter
13. DYOR = Do Your Own Research
14. Bag Holder = A person who buys and hold coins in large quantity hoping to make good profits in the future.
15. Altcoins = Alternate cryptocurrency; anything other than bitcoin
16. Shitcoin = A coin with no potential value or use
17. Moon/Mooning = Continuous upward movement of price (reaching the moon)
18. Bear/Bearish = Negative price movement
19. Bull/Bullish = Positive price movement
20. Short = Margin bear position
21. Long = Margin bull position
22. Whale = Very Wealthy trader/Market mover.
23. Weak Hand = A coin holder prone to selling at the first sign of a dip in price.
24. Reverse Indicator = Someone who is always wrong predicting price movements.
25. Swing = Zig zag price movement (Upwards and downwards)
