Bitwise Investment Director Matt Hougan called first-tier network tokens the basic assets for a crypto portfolio. He emphasized that Project Crypto's initiative to transfer stocks and bonds to public blockchains will increase demand for Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, Cardano, and Polkadot.

Atkins also noted the concept of "super apps" that will offer a wide range of services through a single interface. Coinbase and Robinhood fit this model perfectly, one of these companies could become the largest financial services provider in the world and, perhaps, the first in this sector with a capitalization of over $1 trillion.

Another trend is a "qualitatively" new stage in the development of DeFi. Despite past regulatory difficulties, the SEC's new position could trigger an explosive growth of decentralized platforms, Hougan believes.
