This could be you trying to remind God about what He promised. And the first question can be, does God forget? Is God ever in any way wrong? Of course not. You know many times we TRY to outsmart God and he is not a kid. Oh yes! God is merciful, ALL kind, all loving and many good attributes you can think of but NEVER TAKE HIM FOR GRANTED.
A preacher once said something that touched me; ‘ between thus said the Lord and it came to pass, there is something in-between called, ‘show working’’. So if God said it and it didn't come to pass, it means you failed to play your path well. We are living in a time where Christians in general want God's will to be done but they don't want to do God’s will. They want God to move, but they are not interested in moving God. Imagine the entire contradiction.
Everyone doing as they like, living as they like and when it back fires, men drag blame back to God. Power is the ability to cause a change and when the unethical play their part well, you end up the victim. I wrote something similar in my last article.
So where are we getting to in this article? A quick one; ‘NEVER THROW BLAMES ON GOD’. Of course there were times I used to ask the questions of whether God really cared. So many things are happening in the phase of the Earth and a loving father just keeps watching. Let me quickly correct this impression; God loves man so much and I have many scriptural backings on this in case you want to ask.
Nevertheless, we have to understand that God has his principles. How many even regard God as their Father from the depth of their hearts? It is all surface and lips worship. Many run to him so that he can double up the finances for them. Worship and godly living is not prioritised in the society. Every step of men is in the direction of provoking God.
In conclusion, Prayer is becoming a scarce thing and in-between those who conduct prayers only few are genuinely in pursuit of him through total surrender. Personal interest and vain worship everywhere. Everyone has excuses for not giving God quality time. My job, my career, my education, family, societal concerns. LORD PLEASE HAVE MERCY.
It is something worth being sober. So where is God wrong here; humans feel they can take care of themselves. They manipulate new ways of worship and it in turn enslaves them. There is still much to say, but let's close the curtain here for today.
