If there is life there is a hope and hopelessness
Life is chasing death for a resting place
The tree shades it leaves just to survive the season
So is age beckoning on grave for a lasting friendship
Lighting strike a life of my roots
I used the pain in the pen to write " when faith fails"
A promised dreams of parents shattered like a glass
I thought words live but they die too

My heart was empty and dark like a tomb of a sinner
No one to rescue my spirit from the shadows of death
Trapped in nothing but an empty space
No melody on my tongue like a barren woman
Just a walking dead

But there is a rainbow in the sky
The little man whisper sounds and the mad man danced
Inner peace resounding and lit a fire in the soul
Burning all hopelessness and infirmity
The first fruit of my heart was to live for self
Time turn to tunes and fire made the light shine
A prophecy must be fulfilled if faith is accepted
I put my past in a casket and in a barricade
I have every reason to live for myself
