đ The Event: A time of thought swaying and change
Theme: Convergence and Reckoning
Start: September 1 (Aurigid Meteor Shower)
Peak: September 7â22 (Blood Moon, Equinox, UNGA, Solar Eclipse)
End: September 30 (Global resets, budget deadlines, spiritual closures)
This yearâs The Event is marked by dual eclipses, planetary oppositions, and a UN General Assembly that coincides with major religious new years. The sky, the spirit, and the state all seem to whisper: âItâs time.â

The Hill
The subtitle of "A time of thought swaying and change" is based off an article that I read on the Internet that pointed out that during the year 2015, The Event time period would be the perfect time for people to try to change other people's minds or sway them towards an idea. Since I (and AI) can't find that article, I am assuming that it was meant for 2015 and not every year during The Event period. However, as you see above, there's a lot to The Event, when it comes to celestial, religious, and political activity.
This year, I was prompted by someone on X to drag up The Event again. My first post of The Event was in 2017 and my last one was in 2022. A lot has changed since 2015 and a lot of stuff has just stayed the same. When I look back at the tweets from 2015, it is a little bitter sweet due to losing some of those Social friends. Even some of the threads are incomplete. But, that is what happens with time. Time erodes everything until nothing remains, just like the original article that kicked this all off.
đŤď¸ The Swaying Mindscape
Political language has been especially charged this year, and some of it seems to echo the symbolic arc of The Event. In March, a warning circulated: âOur democracy might be gone in six monthsâ (source). That would land us right in the heart of Septemberâjust as the eclipses, equinox, and UNGA converge. Another line, "We donât have another year to fight this attempt to destroy democracy," feels like a countdown clock ticking through the final year of resistance. Whether these are prophetic or just political theater, they mirror the thresholds weâre watching: the SDG Moment (source), the Autumn Equinox (source), and the budget deadline (source).

The Long Walk â September 12, 2025 Based on Stephen Kingâs dystopian novel, this thriller imagines a totalitarian future where 100 young men must walk non-stop or be executed. Only one survives. Itâs a brutal metaphor for endurance, societal control, and existential reckoning.
