Bug: eSteem: Duplicated System Notification

Description (in short)

on my Android phone I usually get duplicated system notifications for the same event. This bug basically appears on all events (follow, unfollow, comment on post, etc.).
When I do nothing with it, so just whiping it out (deleting), you can wait they will appear again.

I am not sure, if this is real bug, because the steem user name sounds like a bot and maybe the bot really did this so often. But in my opinion it's worth some investigation at this.

Thanks for your contribution.

This issue seems to have been reported previously, you can find a link to this issue below:

https://github.com/esteemapp/esteem/issues/237

In terms of your contribution, it's fairly light and we would recommend you add items such as:

  1. Expected Behaviour
  2. Actual Behaviour
  3. Steps to reproduce
  4. A video/images of the issue
  5. Environment

Although these are only recommendations the information mentioned above is considered good practice and using our template will help you to cover these important areas in future. The main aim of this is to provide the project owner with all the information they need to reproduce and then fix the issue at hand.

Although I can see some of this within your GitHub issue, we would also require these to be added to Utopian submission also. As you haven't added any steps to reproduce this issue it makes it hard to understand the issue further.

To be considered for a potential reward, submissions should only relate to bugs on the latest released version of the application. Users may need to download and build the latest version to ensure that they run the latest build provided in the project repository. As you haven't provided any indication of the version number which this was tested on this makes it hard to know if this guideline has been followed, I would recommend that you add this to your contributions in the future.

I can see that you tested this on Android 5.0.1 (as per the GitHub issue), as per our guidelines bug reports for bugs on Android apps should be tested on Android 6.0 and above.

Overall it's great to see you contributing to the opensource community via Utopian and I hope to see you making further contributions in the future. If you need any help or advice please feel to join us on Discord :D
