Hello, Hi, Namaste to all Hive users who have reached this post. I hope you are all doing great. Here, I am sharing a crochet rose 🌹 that I tried making for the first time.
Decided to make a red rose.

So here is the process I followed for this rose -

Took a red wool and made a slip knot, then 49 chains.

After this started making half double crochet from the 2 nd chain (leaving 1 chain).

Then 2 chain after this started making 3 double crochet in a stitch and leave a stitch ( repeat the same for the whole chain ).

Again made 2 chain then 1 chain, a double crochet, 2 double crochet, double crochet, 1 chain then a slip stitch ( repeat the same).

After this started making the sepal.

For this, make a magic ring, 6 half double crochet then a slip stitch.

Then made 6 chains, from chain 2 started the pattern - slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, double crochet and at last a slip stitch in the next chain.

Repeat this pattern 6 times.

Also made a leave for which made a slip stich , 10 chains - single crochet,1 half double crochet, 5 double crochet, half double crochet and 2 single crochet.

Repeated the same for the other side.

For the wire, I used an old bangle and cut it from the upper part.

And using plier I tried to shape it as a wire.

Then started rolling the red portion in the wire ( by applying glue in it).

Then placed the sepal from the bottom and pasted it.

Also attached the leave.

Then rolled the wool across the wire by applying glue in it.

And here the crochet rose was ready.
