As it is said in the scripture in 3 John 1 verse 2 says, Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even that is so prospered.

This shows that, although this is a common knowledge, but people among scientists are also good, and our health has deteriorated because we are not taking our health seriously.

According to the Bible, the common knowledge of people is that our health will deteriorate no matter what. But by staying healthy and eating good food, we increase our chance of living a healthy life.
