Oven is used for baking cakes, bread etc and there are different types of oven ranging from Electric, Gas, Coal, Wood as in a big bakery but today lets take a look at Sand oven.
The Home Economics teacher in our school taught her students on how to make Cake even when you don’t have the conventional oven.

It was like child’s play when she requested for sand, kerosene stove, a big pot and the baking tray.

The normal procedure of baking cake was followed such as mixing the eggs with the flour, milk, butter and sugar with a little quantity of water. The mixture was poured into the baking bowl, the bowl was placed on the heated sand and covered for about One and half hour. After a while, turn the cake upside down for the cake to be properly done for about 15 minutes.

Behold the cake is ready to be served.
It’s amazing that you can bake your cake using stove, sand and a big pot. The cake really nice and the whole school enjoyed it.

When you are somewhere and you feel like eating cake but your conventional oven is not available, that should stop you from enjoying your cake just switch over to what I call Sand Oven.
