What are pancakes and waffles without syrup. Maple syrup is a necessity for pancakes, waffles, and other breakfast foods. I think that someday, I might not be able to find maple syrup (or the fake stuff) here in Arizona so sometimes when I go to the store, I buy an extract of maple. I can make a simple syrup and it only takes a small amount of the extract to flavor it.

I have plenty of sugar stored and have suggested doing the same for anything sweet. Your kids if you have them will appreciate it and it will be a great comfort in tough times. Go get some. Later.
