Greetings to my new fellow Steemians. My name is Terry and it’s really exciting to be a part of this new community. A couple of things about me, I am an engineer, investor, business owner, and former airline pilot. My primary home is in Colorado, although I also maintain a home in the Seattle area.
I’ve been an investor in the stock, bond, and commodities markets for over 40 years. I’ve certainly made my mistakes when it comes to investing, but I’ve also learned a lot along the way that has had a positive impact on the way I invest and trade today, as well as in the performance I’m enjoying.
I hope to share some of my thoughts, ideas, and philosophies with those of you that might be interested. I may also point you in the direction of a few legitimate folks in the industry that may help you become a better investor as well. When I do this, I can assure you I have no financial interest in telling you about them. I simply want to share with you those that have added to the abundance in life that I enjoy today.
One thing you won’t see me post about is politics. We all get enough of that every time we turn on the TV or radio. While I appreciate your right to your views, whichever side you are on, I’m old enough to have already developed my own views and there really isn’t anything you could possible write or direct me to that will change them.
Most importantly, I am really looking forward to learning from you. I’ve heard a lot about this community and I know this is going to be a wonder, enlightening, and pleasurable experience as we go through this journey together.
