Success is not accidental. It runs on a system. A system is parts working together to deliver a guaranteed result. Hard work without a system is an engine with no transmission. When these few of many kits are assembled, success becomes a harvest. Shallow men think of luck, but wise and strong men believe in cause and effect. — Ralph Waldo Emerson.
The Task System is made up of seven interlocking kits: Task — Am I bound to this? Training — Am I equipped? Target — Where exactly am I going? Tools — What do I need in my hand? Timing — When do I step out? Tillage — Am I working? Tarrying — Will I wait for it? Remove one kit, the engine sputters. Install all seven, success becomes inevitable.
Kit 1 — Task: Necessity Is Laid Upon Me. Until you see your assignment as a necessity, it will never enjoy your best. You will never get the best out of it. You function as one merely attempting, not accomplishing. “Woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel!” — 1 Cor 9:16.
Kit 2 — Training: Quality of Training = Degree of Triumph. Two forms of training exist: Formal — received from educational institutions; sets the pace. Informal (Personal Development) — delivers the goods. “Abram armed his trained servants... and pursued them unto Dan.” — Gen 14:14. Many are schooled. Few are trained. Training is proof of Personal Commitment.
Kit 3 — Target: Certainty of Goal. A target must be specific — not vague, defined — clearly described, and quantifiable — measurable progress.
Qualification Is No Substitute — Nor Disqualifier. Benjamin Franklin stopped school at age 10 and became an inventor, diplomat, framer of the U.S. Constitution, and founder of the University of Pennsylvania. Richard Branson was a school drop-out who founded the Virgin empire. Not a brain drop-out. Anthony Robbins had only a high school education and now teaches professors. Oral Roberts had only a high school education and founded a leading Christian University. God requires that one first be trained before he is placed. Your Training determines your Placement.
