Improved post

Post page got a lot better and wider, so it is easier to read content when on desktop devices. Re-arranged details so we could add Listening to post feature

Text-to-Speech (TTS)

Now you can Listen to posts with our new TTS feature. Perfect for multitaskers, readers on the go, or accessibility needs!

Improved Waves Navigation on Mobile

We’ve redesigned how the Waves page works on mobile devices to make it much easier to use.

Important buttons are closer to your fingers, no need to reach the top
Cleaner layout with better use of space
Faster and easier navigation when viewing or creating Waves
Unified view similar to Ecency mobile app navigation

Community Beneficiary Settings

Community owners can now set a default beneficiary for any post published into their community. This custom solution existed, due to request from community admins, we have added support for it.
Beneficiary is added automatically and locked (not removable)
If it’s more than 25%, a clear warning message helps users make informed decisions This boosts trust and accountability, helping users post to communities more transparently.

I just tried it and it didn't work for me. If I drag several to the window, only the first one appears, and if I click on the window, it only lets me select one, no more. Currently, I upload several in peakd and then copy the address of each link into the ecency editor. With the previous editor, you could upload multiple. Thanks.

Yes that’s what I am saying, we can add this in future updates. Also classic editor still exist and you can try that.

Great work 👏👏. I just have a request, if you guys can add reel like system for ecency waves? Where we can share reels? Consider it a suggestion because Idk, how difficult it is or even if it's possible or not. But, if done, it would be of great 🥰.

How does it work exactly? I don't see any way to actually enforce it, especially the non-removable part. If it is front-end only feature, doesn't it make Ecency worse? What is the benefit for the author? Unless I'm not familiar with some changes in Hivemind and now beneficiaries are enforced on Hivemind level (by auto muting posts not conforming to the rules, similar to posting to comment only/member only communities) in which case it makes sense to at least warn the author that their post won't show up normally in the community feed.

It is community specific, for example if you try to post into The Flame community which has this beneficiary setting, you will see in editor following info so you are aware that particular community has beneficiary setting. We are just showing information set by particular communities, hope it clarifies and answers your question? Each community owner has that setting now, we just displaying it to authors so they know before publishing.
