Trials is a training ground. I want to dive into this week prompt without delay by saying that
Iife has thrown many bitter and ugly stones my way—heartbreaks, betrayals, losses, and disappointments. I’ve been dumped not once, not twice, but five times in my journey to find lasting love. Each time, I was left with wounds that only time, faith, and patience could begin to heal.

In business, I have tasted bitter defeats. I’ve invested time, money, and hope—only to watch trusted hands turn against me. I’ve been robbed by 419 fraudsters, scammed by those I once called partners, and watched my efforts crash like a house of cards or building without foundation Yet, with every fall, I stood back up. Why? Because I don’t pack down at all.
I’ve learned to see trials as training grounds, not tombstones or hell fire.
My greatest strategy has been patience—not the weak, passive kind, but the strong, steady kind that waits with purpose, grows in silence, and refuses to quit. Patience has been my shield in the storm, my compass when direction seemed lost.
What keeps me going is the deep conviction that there’s purpose in pain, and destiny is never built without scars. God’s grace strengthens my backbone, and the lessons I’ve learned fuel my resolve.
I have learned to
trust God more than people.
I value my process even when it’s painful.
I never allow rejection to define my worth.
I in all situations turn every setback into a setup for a comeback.
So, when life hits me hard, I don’t bow. I don’t beg. I don’t break. I always bounce back stronger, wiser, and more determined.
My advice for you is
that if you’re reading this and you’re going through your own storm, don’t pack down. You’re not buried. You’re planted. Let your roots go deep in faith, in character, in courage. In time, you will rise.
let the scars you have remind you that
you’re still standing not because it was easy, but because you refused to give up.
