En esta oportunidad, bajo la temática de los "tesoros", he querido traer una canción que da vida a la raíz más profunda de nuestra identidad llanera. Para un hombre de campo, el tesoro más grande no es el oro ni las joyas, sino su compañero de batallas y faenas: su caballo. Hello, dear community! I am your friend Diego López, @encuentro, and I am very happy to be here one more week sharing with you at the #Hive Open Mic. On this occasion, under the theme of "treasures," I wanted to bring a song that gives life to the deepest roots of our plainsman identity. For a country man, the greatest treasure is not gold or jewelry, but his companion in battles and tasks: his horse.

Recuerdo con cariño la vez que Santana me visitó en mi hogar junto al entrañable poeta mi estimado Torres Molina. Santana fue un hombre extraordinariamente amistoso, buena gente en toda la extensión de la palabra, y su legado musical sigue vivo en donde suene un arpa. This song has a very high sentimental value for me. It is titled "I don't sell my horse," a work by my great late friend, Santana Santanita. I remember with affection the time Santana visited me at my home along with the beloved poet, my esteemed Torres Molina. Santana was an extraordinarily friendly man, a good person in every sense of the word, and his musical legacy lives on wherever a harp sounds.
