La tarjeta anterior que hice me gustó demasiado, de hecho en la publicación comenté que en el espacio libre del doblez, quedaba excelente colocarle un chocolate, esto me inspiró a hacer dos marcalibros cuidando el estilo de la tarjeta y cuando lo terminé ¡Wow, qué bien se ven juntos!

Me gustan las cosas hechas a mano, las valoro más, se notan que están echas con amor, le pusieron tiempo, dedicación y un pedacito de ellos en su creación, digo esto porque cada cosa que hago lleva un pedacito de mí, pues lo hago con mucho amor y mucho gusto.

Disfruté hacer estos marcalibros que hacen juego con mi tarjeta, muchos me lo han pedido, pero es difícil recrear la misma tarjeta porque cada creación es única e irremplazable.

Hello everyone!

I absolutely loved the card I made last time; in fact, in my post I mentioned that the space left in the fold was perfect for slipping in a chocolate. This inspired me to make two bookmarks in the same style as the card, and when I finished them—wow, they look so good together!

I love handmade things; I value them more. You can tell they’re made with love – time, dedication and a little piece of the maker has gone into their creation. I say this because everything I make carries a little piece of me, as I make it with lots of love and great pleasure.

I really enjoyed making these bookmarks to match my card; lots of people have asked me for them, but it’s difficult to recreate the exact same card because every creation is unique and irreplaceable.

Corta cada cartulina de color el largo es el tamaño carta y el ancho es 5 centímetros.

Corta dos cartulinas de color blanco con medida de 3.5 de ancho y el largo cortas 1 centímetro. Corta las dos esquinas superiores en diagonal.

Pega las cartulinas blancas en las cartulinas de colores dejando espacio libre.

Arma tu idea de cómo irán pegados los stickers y comienza a pegar en el marcalibros.

Cut each sheet of coloured card to letter size, with a width of 5 centimetres.

Cut two sheets of white card, each 3.5 centimetres wide and 1 centimetre long. Cut the top two corners diagonally.

Stick the white card onto the coloured card, leaving some space free.

Plan out where you want to place the stickers and start sticking them onto the bookmark.

Intercalé stickers viejos que ya tenía y los nuevos que me quedaron de la tarjeta.

Luego de pegarlos todos decoro con marcador color morado los espacios libres.

Hice el boceto de líneas y flores y luego llene de color con marcadores.

I sketched the outlines and flowers, then coloured them in with felt-tip pens.

The short, dotted lines represent the butterfly's flight as it goes to meet its mum; if you look closely, you'll see that one is bigger than the other.

I drew diagonal lines with the purple felt-tip pen.

Con el perforador, abre un huequito en cada uno de los marcalibros.

Corta dos tiras de yute.

Pasa la tira doble por el agujero y realiza un nudo.

Corta el excedente de yute. Con ello terminamos el complemento de nuestra tarjeta.

Using the hole punch, make a small hole in each of the bookmarks.

Cut two strips of jute.

Thread the double strip through the hole and tie a knot.

Trim off the excess jute. And that completes the accessory for our card.
