For the first time in STEEM blockchain history, we managed to do more than 1.5 million transactions on average for a week!
Wow! that is amazing!
This is of course more than any other blockchain out there but what's even more impressive is that it only took 0.13% load on the network.

Steem price and SBD are both looking solid at the moment. STEEM is around $5 and SBD around $7.
Personally, I'm doing three things with these prices.
-
I bought STEEM with SBD. (1.5 STEEM per SBD).
-
I'm keeping some SBD to see how it develops. (hopefully higher, but that's not a given)
-
I sold SBD for fiat. (diversifying)
I personally love the high SBD price because it makes it easier to afford stuff.
For @blockbrothers, for instance, it's a lot easier to pay for servers (or put money aside now for future expenses) and pay the Android developer, that will create Steemify Android for us, with it.
I talk about it more in my vlog.

I am a witness with our developer group @blockbrothers for the Steem blockchain. If you want to support us I would appreciate your vote here.
We build Steemify a notification app for your Steemit account for iOS.

Thank you for the update on what the witnesses are talking about. As you mentioned, I dont see the onboarding as a problem. Not now, we get enough new users signed up, and as you say, STINC is working on this as a priority and we can expect a smoother and faster onboarding in the future.
The SBD I dont see as a problem as well, it is more a none issue. It is a crypto currency without a proper mechanism to keep the value close to a US$, so therefore no point in spending time between witnesses to even talk about it.
What I'm REALLY surprised at that the witnesses apprarently talk about topics that are irrelevant to talk about and to try and fix! But the REAL issues are not talked about! SURE, many new people will come to Steemit, becuase money can be earned at Steemit. These new people dont know about all the issues we have at Steemit in how money is distributed and powers are distributed. Money distribution and Power concentration: THAT are the REAL BIG problems for Steemit and in the end also the Steem blockchain! Are the witnesses aware of this? What are you guys trying to do to solve this issue? Be aware, when we move forward in time, others will also move forward in time, and will take whatever is good from Steemit, and build their own technology to launch competitive crypto based communities. You know the MySpace story? Well that can happen to Steemit and Steem as well. THAT is what the witnesses should concentrate on, how to make sure Steemit/Steem will not be pushed away by newer, better communities that will be launched, for sure!
You are one of the few that actually talks about this issue. It's one reason I make sure to read your posts daily and watch so many of your vlogs. To many in the crypto space give horrible advice when it comes to the investment side of crypto. Sames goes for those on the other side of the fence saying crypto is to volatile and should be completely avoided.
Those that sell stocks tend to push for all money to be in stocks and call it diversified if you are in different sectors, those that believe in crypto tend to feel spreading across different crypto makes you diversified, those that believe in commodities feel you are diversified if you are in different classes of commodities (food, oil, metals).
The key is there are across the market crashed in all types of investing. Being truly diversitfied requires many different types of investments. Owning real estate, gold/silver, stocks, and crypto is a good starting point. Then within each category you invest in you need to be diversified also.
Anyways thanks again for being a voice of reason and using your position as someone who has a large following to share this useful advice.
Its been nice to see the increase in activity in the steem and steem dollars
but we have to see how steemit platform can control the inflationary impact on the crypto currency
frequently people compare the steemit platform with the facebook, however there is a major difference, compartively lower number people visit facebook for earning, and most of the people just to hangout and share thier expierence, while most of the people here at steemit like to earn
so how will this inflation be curtailed, plus very few people consume the actual content posted on steemit
very stricit policies should be in place to curtail spaming and posting plagrized content, additionally the lapse between two upvotes or comments could be increased as now body could read an article in three seconds
please share your views on how to increase the future viabilty of the platform
