Wow.. true, steemit is no longer about blogging. To me its a family!

It does feel like one big family. We don't have the trolls like the other social media sites.

Steemit is a platform in its beginnings, although it is still in the Beta stage. It has achieved great success. I believe that a promising future is looming for this platform. Its strength lies in the fact that a group of integrated social sites (D-tub + steemit + busy ect. ..) We are still waiting for the darkest of this blockchaine . I wish you success and I think 2018 will be the year of Steemit with excellence .

yea sure, its not all about blogging anymore. steemit is really moving to greater heights and soon we will see the outcome.

like you rightly said, it is indeed a huge change for them and for us too and so we will need to develop a new mindset as time goes on to accommodate what they are about dishing to us i the near future.

The price will be at fair value. I see the future value. When my vision is shared by others, the price will be very different. Our emotional attachment reflects the present value of future potential.

STEEM is the best blockchain and we are definitely going in right direction. I have little bit regret not knowing about Steemit when it was around 10 cent, but better now than never. Potential is enormous, which will also reflect on price.

That's an interesting point you brought up about Steemit taking a step back to these apps and let them really promote the blockchain. I think it's a mix of both, I'm a blogger at heart so I'm partial to the content creation LOL

Dmania is a laugh riot. I recently checked a lot of posts on dmania. They were so funny that i cannot express it here.
I also want to participate in dmania but the only problem is that every dmania post ends up on steemit. I don't think a joke in between some serious blog posts is going to be liked by my followers. This is specially true if you are trying to build a niche on steemit.

Loved watching that interview. It made me look into what IPFS actually is. Now I am thankful! I think IPFS would be great if the platforms on Steem used it. Being in China, I'd rather not have this wonderful platform censored.

More people need to know about Steemit and the freedom this social media platform offers. Steemit is a sanctuary of free thought and real life. A place where you can just blog about what you have going on in life and complete strangers wish you well and root you on. You can talk about things that are important to you and others from around the world can comment and share experiences. Steemit is a destination for journeyers. People that explore the world. Steemonians take advantage of life and we like to share our experiences. We like to read about new things and different perspectives that we can't get from the news or from other social media.

And the best part about all this is that i have barely noticed any spam content. Almost every single post i see, in new, or trending offers some kind of value.

the steem inc is really setting the path forward for many companies out there to how to work as a whole team together and i don't think there's any better example than this

The constant efforts towards improvement and expansion is not seen in other crypto and the biggest reason I feel we have a great opportunity here.

Yes that is how I see it also. Seen a few people on facebook talking about it being a quick way to make money in a few groups for my business. Been correcting them and letting them know there is no overnight success to making $500 profit per blog post. It takes work and dedication. But that it's better then the time they spend doing nothing productive on FB.

True talk....What Steem offers is a challenge of ingenuity and progress....To truly make it here, you must learn to adapt, evolve and consistently grow. You must also provide value and understand the biz aspect of blogging, vlogging etc on the Steem blockchain

Dont get me wrong, I love steemit and Dtube (check out my page). But my older sister signed up for steemit the same day as me, and she STILL hasn't had her account approved! We also checked out AnonSteem but they charge ~$50 for accounts there.

I know we're not the only ones having this problem. Please fix the sign ups! So when all these millions of Facebook users come, they can actually get in!
