Yea I figured steem has really been stubborn at this time. I also think the Weiss rating has a hand in this . Cool though!

Don't know much about dmania, but I think it's growth means tge growth of steemit invariable so I am excited all the same.

There are lot of positive things regarding steem like
- Weiss rating
- dmania growth
- BTC rate is too low but steem is contained

Bullish! It's over the 1000 BTC volume and I bet will go past what Bittrex has. Almost every coin goes up heavily after they list them, I doubt that STEEM will be an exception. What about SBD though?

About time Binance! Should definitely help to get a few extra new users interested in STEEM. I get the feeling that a lot of people who are new to crypto will have joined Binance, partially due to the fact that it has an affiliate program and a lot of youtubers etc promote it. Binance is one of the hottest exchanges and is the favorite one these days. Massive news for Steem! It went to 0.00100 Sats ($10) on Binance. That's what a Binance listing does to a coin. Wish I knew earlier!

WOW! I was kicking myself because Korean exchanges were all banned from having its citizens withdrawl krw into its exchanges to invest making it nearly impossible for new investors

now i can just buy steem with my current eth on Binance instead! So much easier!

This is big news. You know what, I also have been feeling a bit anxious about the Steem price. Every time I put money in to buy Steem, the price drops shortly after lol. But here I am, continuing to invest.

I really want Steem to succeed. I want to be able to quit my job and go full time with Steem and other endeavors. The fact that Steem bolsters several platforms that are doing well is more evidence to investors that this is a great investment for the future!

I'm tired of using Poloniex. They've frozen STEEM way too many times. It's not acceptable in the fast paced crypto world to have funds tied up like that.

STEEM will only go up when more people want to buy it than sell it (like with most things). I consider it very positive that there is now another Exchange where people can do just that.

I'm trying to understand why SBD could come down to $1. I'm actually wondering if you are taking into account the inflation increase, also upcoming hyper inflation and weaker US dollar day by day. The weaker US dollar, the higher SBD we have have which is a reflexion of the US dollar value losing purchasing power. I don't think we are going to go the logical way to due external factors here. I would love to hear your answer.

Seriously I'm wondering why SBD reduced to $1. Some newbies are already complaining, but I believe it will come up soon.

SBD was intended to always be $1, it's STEEM you want to go up in value. Cashing out STEEM would give you more SBD, the more $1's the STEEM is worth.

You can always convert 1 SBD into $1 USD worth of STEEM. This prevents the SBD from being worth less than one US dollar.

SBD has gone up because it's being bought on exchanges (for reason X) where it is traded and anyone can buy and sell it. This dictates the price. Currently $4,50.

The higher STEEM goes the higher the rewards will be. And because almost half of the reward is 1 on 1 in SBD more and more SBD's will be printed with a higher STEEM price.

The current supply is almost 8 million SBD (from 4.6 million 30 days ago). A huge increase already.

Given enough time I believe this rise in SBD's on the market will put pressure on the price and ultimately make it go back to $1 USD.

I don't know when or how long this will take. It could be a while.

SBD won't go below $1 USD because then users will convert it to $1USD worth of STEEM.

It is kind of crazy to have SBD so high. I think once SBD hits $1, this moment is going to be the peak of Steemit rewards for quite a while. SBD rewards right now are extremely generous, and the price of STEEM would have to get much much higher at $1 SBD to end up with rewards even close to what we're seeing now. Definitely glad to be active right now.

I think demand will push it higher. I am trying to investigate the creation of SBD and determine how and how many there are. If Steemians HODL their SBDs will the price rise more? SBD is needed for SMTs, so I want as many as I can get. Why should SBD stay at $1? When SBD is high, you can get more STEEM for your rewards, or you can invest your SBD in a SMT of your choice. Those projects will LOVE the high SBD price, which means more value in their SmartMediaToken.

They are printing more Steem Dollars almost every day! Take a look at the circulating supply, before the price pump it was only around 3 million SBD in circulation but now at the time of writing this comment is exactly 7,815,700 SBD.

Minnows with less Steem Power, like me, are the most affected by this measure. They should've let the market decides the fate of SBD until the Steem price increases significantly. I don't see a considerable number of merchants accepting Steem Dollars after all.

On a side note, I am looking forward for the listing of Steem Dollars to follow on the great Binance exchange--so I can sell them directly into BTC and buy some other alt-coins.

SBD will must be back to $1 eventually

From what I understand Steem and SBD was designed to stay around $1. I can understand how that would make sense, but with the unforeseen increase I would see it as great. I have been reading posts that keep talking about it going back down to $1, but I don't see how that could be possible....short of everyone quitting.

It is a great news to know that STEEM is gaining more recognition on popular exchanges. I believe this will make the value of STEEM will be more stronger. The fact that the downtrend of BTC has no impact on STEEM is a clear indication of how valuable STTEEM is becoming.

I wonder why poloniex always disables steem wallet, I've long stopped using that exchange. I'm so happy STEEM is now on Binance, really great news for traders and hodlers. I can only see better days ahead, there is a really great anticipation of the SMTs which I believe has led to so much accumulation that is standing against the FUD of BTC dump.

I do not know what is wrong with those exchanges....
- first they stopped new users to register (see for example bittrex closed since December)
- next they do not allow direct funding to ICOs (eg Binace)
- now they take out wallets w/out notice
- what will be next????

I personally wouldnt buy any steem dollar I think the price ist too high I would say that steem dollar will go like 0.5$ at the end of the year. It is my opinion.

Deposits and withdrawals will remain disabled until a solution is found, which may require an update from the STEEM team. Any updates must be tested and audited before enabling.". Hey @exyle been here 5 weeks and that was the first time ive heard you on Dtube and i enjoyed listening to your passion that you show for steemit. You explained things very well i can see you have a genuine heart for the community and projects that are developing over here. I have discovered dsound and dtube as a saxophonist to be honest but my other nich which is why im excited is social media promotion. The learning process rolling in solo was a challenge but eventually networked with some awesome people here and took my time making sure I can point people in the right direction and get them settled so have not had time to catch up with dmania yet. Who would i need to speak to get involved with the dmania promotion id like to share what I am doing in twitter and instagram which is blowing my platform up with more interest than I can but learning to get organised early days yet. So I am getting the impression dMania is more like a mobile on the go ap maybe like instagram? Is there going to be an android thing as digital marketing is part of my niche to. binance is a good exchange I always use it and it seems good to me that I include steem's wallet, the low of the btc leads us very badly, our steem today is in 3.33$,let's hope the markets stabilize soon,thanks for the info.
