Getting onto Steemitchat is so easy, being in the drop down menu on Steemit and just a click to connect!
The direct messaging is really easy to use too and I get an email when someone replies so I know to login and have a look!

steemit.chat needs actual steem integration to be able to make every message a real comment on steemit so they can be upvoted

Yes please create a new account with the same username as on Steemit but use a different password. It's a different website to steemit.com :)

ohh i see. as steemit account use on Dtube so i consider the same for steemit.chat.

Almost daily I manually go through introduction posts by new users looking for promising accounts. Part of the information I share with them is the steemit.chat details.

This issue just came up in another conversation, but Discord is directly linked to gaming. Many people work for companies that block gaming sites. The company I work for does, and I cannot use Discord here at work.

Steemit.chat works though, and I absolutely love it to network with friends and to better coordinate Steemit.com activity. It has made my experience way better, and I've met a ton of friends by using it too.

I cannot thank you and your staff enough for all the hard work to keep it running as a service for us users. Thank you!!!

Absolutely. Useful? I love it! One day we'll hopefully see steemit.com integrate communities and chatting. In the mean time though, I cannot praise steemit.chat enough. New users and veterans both benefit greatly from being there. If you are not on it, you're not networking. This platform is all about making quality connections to quality people. Steemit.chat makes that much easier.

Yeah it is a nice place to go from time to time and meet more people and find new people that blog on steemit and maybe you would not find easily thwir pists.

Having a separate chat to be able to converse with members outside of post comments is imperative. Great job streamlining this!

On a side note, I SO wish I could attend SteemFest! grr! lol. But, on the bright side, I will absolutely be a proud attendee of SteemFest 2018 :) And I know you and others will provide unparalleled coverage!
