아침에 눈을 떠보니 신기하게도 여전히 숨을 쉬고 있는 겁니다.

정원에 나가보니 여전히 아른다운 꽃들이 만발해 있습니다. 올 봄, 무작정 정원 공사를 했다면 대부분 나무들은 베어져 사라졌을 겁니다. 그래서 한해를 기다려 보기로 한겁니다. 나무들의 정체를 알고 싶었던거죠.

아침에 일어나서 이런 꽃들과 인사할 수 있는게 얼마나 다행인지 모릅니다. 살아있다는 건 이런 것을 의미하는지도 모릅니다.
