How much has to be explored and discarded before reaching the naked flesh of feeling.

Why do I feel your topic #1 is aimed at me, hmmm, guess I'm getting paranoid 😝🤣
Not sure I'll have enough mojo left, the past few weeks, and most especially this one, work has drained me. Then again, maybe that's perfect to just delve into some paint or such. I definitely can't wait for tonight.
The clone subject sounds fun, too, the immortal one not so much. I mean, what's the point? Throw yourself in front of a bus or out of a plane without a chute just to feel every bone in your body breaking when you hit the ground but, hey, you're not dead, yet you have the pain? That's a definite - no thank you, Sir. I'd be interested to see if somebody comes up with something better to use weekend immortality for, really interested...
> Why do I feel your topic #1 is aimed at me, hmmm, guess I'm getting paranoid
Well, no one has taken up the challenge yet, there must be one brave soul out there, surely.
> Not sure I'll have enough mojo left, the past few weeks, and most especially this one, work has drained me.
There is no obligation.
> the immortal one not so much. I mean, what's the point?
Someone suggested lava swimming. Seems like something I'd do.[IMAGE: https://i.imgur.com/XsrNmcl.png]
Brave? Me? Nope.
Of course, no obligation but - enticement.
Swimming through lava? Hmm, I don't know, feeling my skin burnt to crisp like in a salmons skin sushi, just a little bit hotter... On the other hand - warm is good IMO. Hmmm... I think I'd still vote NO
You used to answer one of your prompts yourself - whatever happened to that? Did Ijust miss it?
Nah, not you, I meant someone else.
> I don't know, feeling my skin burnt to crisp like in a salmons skin sushi, just a little bit hotter
Immortality takes care of this. I think I'd do it. I'd swim down to the centre of the Earth and see what I found there. Remember that movie about it? Seemed like a nice place to be, away from humanity.
> You used to answer one of your prompts yourself - whatever happened to that? Did I just miss it?
I get this question a lot actually. You're right, I used to answer them quite often but got out of the habit. What do you think, is this week a good time to do so?[IMAGE: https://i.imgur.com/XsrNmcl.png]
> Nah, not you, I meant someone else.
Sure you did. Totally. I trust... you...?
There were a few movies to/through the center of the Earth - which one? I'm pretty sure I've seen it. Away from humanity - at least for a while sounds pretty tempting. Just imagine the silence... I'm almost there already...
You do? I guess I don't read too much / too many comments but every now and then I miss your take on your own challenge. This week? It's as good as any - why not go for it?!
Now I always wait for the weekend to see what new occurrences brings us, to be immortal, a clone, a challenge, sure to be immortal will attract many, to do things that do not dare for fear of risking their lives, well only in hive they can do it, live to dream, greetings.
Ahh... Claude Debussy was such an eccentric composer(my favourite impressionist btw) and he had such a profound way with his words.
This particular quote, alongside this:
"But music, don't you know, is a dream from which the veils have been lifted. It's not even the expression of a feeling, it's the feeling itself."
Are my top 2 favourite of his.
I don't know how you do it man, but these topics are even more creative than last week's! Hopefully, I can conjure up something good enough for this week's engagement.
Ahh... after such a stressful week, sitting down to write for something this creative, is just what the doctor required i'm sure.
Thanks and take care Oracle!
Debussy knew what he was about, although (interestingly) strongly rejected the impressionist composer tag. We look back now (listen back) and simply enjoy his brilliance, no matter what he was called.
I don't know where my topics come from, I mean my brain obviously, but they tend to just pop in there when required and I roll with it.
I hope you enjoy your creative writing and weekend also.
True, he also hated being compared with Ravel XD
Well, that's quite convenient then - ain't it? Keep em coming!
Oh I will, I was planning to attend a concert tomorrow even. There's an orchestra in town performing Mahler's symphony No. 5; so, that should be as relaxing as it would be somber😅
Thanks anyway!
