Hace unos días me pasó algo gracioso: fuimos a comprar unas cosas y se nos pasó la hora del almuerzo. Después de pensar durante un rato qué podíamos almorzar que no fuera muy costoso, vi que Arturo's tenía un menú de promoción, pero solo disponible para llevar. Se me ocurrió que, como aún teníamos que comprar comida para la casa, podía ir al supermercado y pedir que me llevaran el combo. Según yo, había ahorrado dinero, hasta que llegó el chico de reparto y me dijo: «¿Utilizaste el cupón para que el envío te saliera gratis?». —¿Qué cupón? —pregunté. A lo que me respondió: «Ay, si utilizas el cupón especial del día, te salía gratis». Al final pagué de más por el envío y, de paso, le di propina, jajaja... Al menos ya sé qué hacer la próxima vez 😅

Something funny happened to me a few days ago: we went out to buy a few things and ended up missing lunch. After thinking for a while about what we could have for lunch that wouldn’t be too expensive, I noticed that Arturo’s had a special menu, but it was only available for takeout. It occurred to me that, since we still had to buy groceries for the house, I could go to the supermarket and ask them to bring me the meal. I thought I’d saved money, until the delivery guy showed up and asked, “Did you use the coupon to get free delivery?” “What coupon?” I asked.
