It's a speculative market. However, bitcoin is emerging as a potential store of value, which is the incentive for ETFs to launch. If bitcoin is used as a part of an ETF portfolio or Super/401k portfolio then it is on its way to becoming a robust investment instrument.

Other use cases for crypto are emerging. Nano is being used as a means for buying food in Venezuela right now. That is a use case. Does it apply to all countries? No. But it is helping a lot of people survive where traditional currency and financial management has failed.
