Someone please tell me how TA could have predicted the fact that LTC is no longer linking up with the merchant processor and providing Litepay?? How on earth could TA have accounted for this??? Please. Anyone? And now the day after is a good buying opportunity with such emotion instilled currently? How the Fuck could RSI, elliot waves, or any of this shit predicted that, on top of granddaddy BTC hitting lower lows by the day??? Acording to Haejin, TA is a "quantum event" For christ sakes, the man's profile says he is from Mars, I didn't know he was talking literal when his thoughts are not even in tact with reality. Fucking christ!!! Do not fall for this shit, please.

@molfzart92 - TA isn't so much "predicting", but more preparing you for every scenario that can play out. In theory TA should give you probable landing areas for market moves in either direction so that when a move does begin one way or the other you are prepared with a plan and can then act. Acting before the move begins is just guessing. Before even hearing of the litepay news I was prepared with 3 different bearish scenario landing points. The litepay news/fundamental analysis is simply making the 2 lower scenarios of the 3 I was prepared to see become more likely.

And no I did not get this all (or any of it really) from Haejin's video here. I put together my own TA along with that of 5-10 different sources, but there was indeed a more bearish scenario I was prepared for and news just simply made it more likely than it was before.

Hope that helps explain some of the value of TA, though it is by no means the one and only thing you should rely on.

@molfzart > why not? TA don't measure cosmic radiation, it's based on data, that comes from market emotions and good / bad news – daily people's life. Everyone is looking at the same charts, everyone is getting the same news. That's why TA more often work, than don't. TA won't show you future, but you can have peaty good guess when to enter or to leave market. And also, every TA is valid only until circumstances changes. That's why pro traders do 4 hour TA – just to know if something changed, or the same trends continues.

This fall of BTC was predicted in the beginning of march, because it's easy to draw 4 lines on chart and see support and resistance and make simple forecast – if we don't break resistance, we going to support. Resistance was around 12k, we didn't managed to do that, so naturally we go to $6.5 levels, and because there is no flood of bad news, we probably won't be going to $3.5.

That you will get from simple TA. And if you have time to learn, you can have more advanced TA, so you can short, enter and sell, etc. daily.

I am no expert on this. But yes there are differences. Firstly, total number of Bitcoins that can be generated are much less than Litecoins. And because of this diminishing number of Bitcoins is faster and so they are expensive. Both use different algorithms. Bitcoin is like GOLD in Cryptoworld and Litecoin is claimed to be the SILVER in Cryptoworld. Other differences are more technical, which even I am studying. Hope this answers your query.
