- Token from the NFT farming game dCrops
- Learn more: https://dcrops.com
In this video, I explain how the new token integration works:
Current Features:
- Play games using ALIVE tokens to win HASHSCORE
- Play games using CROP tokens to win HASHSCORE
- All existing HASHSCORE games now accept these tokens
Coming Soon:
- New game: Win ALIVE tokens with HASHSCORE
- New game: Win CROP tokens with HASHSCORE
- CROP NFT rewards integration
Once the hashscore.fun account accumulates enough ALIVE and CROP tokens, we'll launch dedicated games where you can win these tokens using HASHSCORE. CROP NFT rewards are also planned for the near future!

Nice to see !ALIVE and dCrop supported now.
I have a friend asking me what this hashscore game is, and I'll tell you what I told her. You can tell me if I'm close or way off. :)
Basically it is a trading market where you pay with one token and get another token, but the amount you'll get is random, which is the "game" part of it.
Am I close?
Then she asked, why not just trade on hive-engine for the token you want? And I said I think you might get a better "price" in this game if you're lucky. Then she asked if there was some published info on what the probabilities were, as to how often one would do better in the game than on hive-engine, but I had no answer for that.
Anyway, I like the game and own lots of HASHSCORE on another account, currently number 5 on the richlist. https://he.dtools.dev/richlist/HASHSCORE

Most excellent explanation, thanks!
Another question!
I'm trying to find the expected value (average) Hash Score based on my understanding of how it is calculated.
The TX hash seems to be 40 hexadecimal characters. So the average of that is
40 hexadecimal digits * digit average value of 7.5 = 300
But then I see a secret of
LuXrTeVVcldo5XmP
in one of my game wins -- at https://hivehub.dev/tx/3ecbae0f3182bfb6c3b9cd4e44e2cf5dc725746d
These are not hex digits, but seems to be 16 lower case and upper case and digits, so
26 + 26 + 10 = 62 different values for each digit with an average value of 31
then 16 * 31 = 496
Then 300 + 496 = 796.
But I don't think this is correct because you show the average hash score over the last 100 transactions as is 483 which is a lot lower than my calculated average of 796.
Of course any particular 100 scores averaged will be somewhat different from the absolute average, and I could probably figure the probability of 100 numbers taken from a random number between 0 and (2*796) averaging out to 483, but I think it's going to be a very low probability, so I think one or more of my assumptions here is in error!
I guess my question is, where did I go wrong above, and/or is the code for the game open source or not. If it is, I can just go look at it and see how it all works. :)
And just because I am asking a question certainly does not mean you have to answer! Maybe this is proprietary info, which is fine. Maybe it is best to just play the game and not be concerned about the details. So feel free to ignore this comment if you choose, I'm good with that. :)
Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, Happy 2026!
